About Me
I am married with three children, we live in a four-bedroom house and It is a happy homely environment, we have fair boundaries at are coupled with a kind, caring, supportive atmosphere within a very well placed home in the local area.
My Mother is a Registered Childminder who registered to help me out on busy days and is happy to cover my holidays or training days, she has many years of childcare experience and an up to date Paediatric certificate and Safe Guarding Children Training.
We have cats and fish, both very well cared for and provide the children with the opportunity to help take care of and love a pet while here.
My Experience
I have worked with children since 1990 and have been childminding since 2004. We aim to continue to keep up to date and improve this service to meet the childrens needs in any way we can.
My Qualifications
My qualifications are: NVQ Level 4, Safe Guarding Children Training, Paediatric First Aid, Basic & Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificates, Fire Training, Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities, Makaton, Birth to Three Matters, Certificate in Welfare Studies, Certificate in Health & Social Care and the Diploma in Home Based Childcare. Getting it right of two year olds .Early Years Safeguarding Module 1-for Designated person.Making it Better for Boys And Accredited training.

Michelle was an excellent childminder and we would recommend her. Our daughter loved going to Michelle's house and she was always made to feel very welcome. Michelle is very professional and experienced and she was never flustered by anything. We appreciated how flexible she was with occasionally swapping days, how she kept to the routine, cared for our daughter, and her good communication.

Michelle and Carol looked after our older children so they were the obvious choice for our youngest. Dropping her off with them is like leaving her with family, knowing she will be cared for as we would like in a living, safe and comfortable environment.

Our son has been at Birthstones for about 17 months and he couldn't be happier, I was so nervous having to go back to work and leaving him but the home from home environment made it so much easier. He has progressed so much in this time. All the staff are absolutely amazing and very helpful and courage every milestone with us. Couldn't recommend them highly enough. Xx

Harry has been going to birthstones now for about a few months,not once have we had a problem with him he loves all the staff so much he always has a massive smile and they love him to,we are so happy to have to go to work knowing our 9 month son is looked after in a safe friendly professional house.very happy

My daughter has been at Birthstones for nearly 2 years now and she has loved every minute of it. I have never once worried about her whilst she has been in their care and would recommend them to anyone.
