ABC = Amazing Beginnings for Children! We believe that every child is unique and will grow at his or her own pace. Our staff spend time nurturing children’s strengths and encouraging them to reach new heights. We build positive relationships with parents and carers and offer a unique, flexible and affordable service where children and their families come first.

My name is Lynsey Taylor, and I established ABC Childcare Services in 2005. I was the first childminder in the North West of England to gain 'Early Years Professional Status'. This means that I am a leader in childcare, and I have gained 'outstanding' from Ofsted on 3 consecutive occasions.
My house is extremely homely and nurturing. Anyone who visits compliments us highly. We operate as childcare on domestic premises and I work with a small team of practitioners. We truly believe in offering a welcoming and homely service for you and your child. I hold a degree in Psychology and I implement my educational programmes into the setting so your child is not only nurtured, they receive carefully planned activities - which means they have lots of fun. We don't just stay at the house, we explore the community and go on day trips.
We are extremely fortunate to have our own allotment plot, which I have been working on for many years. Here the children grow their own produce. They love collecting their produce and taking it home for their families.
We also have a custom-built play space for 2 year-olds. This is great for children who receive the 2-year-old funded hours. We are improving the outdoors with more open-ended resources and opportunities for your child to have an amazing time. In fact, we are always improving what we do. I was the first childminder in my area to do what I'm doing. I believe I have been an inspiration to others, and of that I am proud. Please come and visit and see for yourself.
My Experience
I established ABC Childcare Services in 2005. I have gained 'outstanding' from Ofsted on 3 consecutive occasions. I have learnt a great deal through my own children and the children in my care over the years. I have a fabulous team of staff across the 3 settings, who have many years experience in Childcare
My Qualifications
I was the first childminder in the North West of England to gain 'Early Years Professional Status'. This means that I am a leader in childcare. I also hold a Bsc (Hons) in Psychology.
My Availability
Each setting is open from 7.45am-6pm Monday to Friday. We are closed on Bank Holidays and the days in-between Christmas and New Year

My youngest child is currently at ABC and my 2 older children have also been in the past. I would highly recommend ABC. The staff are amazing, so caring and kind. I know my children are in safe hands and well looked after. I like the fact that the children get out and about to places like the park, library or allotment.
My 2 older children moved onto the ABC Preschool at Edleston Primary School and the staff there are brilliant too.

So pleased I found this setting 3 years ago, I would not have placed my daughter anywhere else. A caring and nurturing environment, which has played a big part in making my little girl who she is today. All of the team at ABC are great, encouraging their development every step of the way. My daughter has made some wonderful memories and friends whilst at ABC. I can't recommend this setting enough.

I can not recommend this setting highly enough. It is such a big step finding the right child care for you beloved child. My little boy has been with ABC since 7 months old and I could not ask for better, care and love than he has received. The staff are amazing and his development is a credit to the time spent with all the children. My son is due to start school in September and he is very ready and confidence and I put this down to the excellent preparation he has received for this next big step. The home from home setting is both professional and friendly and would urge any parent nervous of leaving there child to take a look at this setting in the knowledge you know your child will be safe and happy. Charlie has been going to ABC for almost 4 years and he has loved every single day! The staff are amazing - always putting Charlie's needs first and he's made fantastic progress under their care. He has lots of friends and brilliant relationships with all of the adults, both at the house and the pre-school. I couldn't have asked for a better start for Charlie and we are sad to be leaving for 'big school' this summer. I always recommend you to everyone - it's such an important decision to chose the right childcare but ABC and Lynsey made it very easy! Thank you for everything ABC!
