About Me
I have been registered since 1997, I have 2 boys 31 & 33 years of age and 2 grandsons who are 7 years old and 2 years old and 2 granddaughter’s who 2 years old and 9 months old. I enjoy my job and I operate a very flexible working day.
It is very important that the children in my care are happy and always learning through play in a safe friendly environment, indoors and outdoors in our Forest School area.
Each child under 5 years of age has a daily information given to parents which is written online in Baby's Days online system for parents/carers to read their childs daily activities, I use photographs to show activities and link them to the EYFS (observations). I keep a Learning Journey online for each child under the age of 5 (until the 1st September of the year of the child reaching 5), parents can view their child's progress online whenever they wish to!
My Experience
I have been childminding for 27 years, I have looked after children from 6 weeks old (including premature babies).
I have seen children grow up into lovely teenagers/adults, who still pop and see me from time to time. Some have brought their children to me while they go to work. I also have experience in looking after three sets of twins.
I feel having children of your own is experience and as you grow older you have lots more patience with little ones, you understand their needs and have lots to offer them.
I also have wonderful relationships with all the parents of the children I care for.

I was desperately looking for a childminder and contacted Lisa even though she was fully booked and also does not do school collection in my area she gave me contacts of others who can help. I found her very kind and caring. Will 100% recommend her.

I have used LJD14 for almost 13 years, my children have grown into wonderful children due to the care they have received and are part of the family now. The flexibility of the service has allowed my husband and I to work all hours required by our employers.
Over the years the parents of all the children have got to know each other well and all the children become one big family. The children have plenty to do in the garden and also in the house with the facilities and toys that are available for them.
The children love it here and so do I - makes working life easier.
