About Me
I am a fun loving and caring mother and childminder in which wants to help and develop children in my setting to enjoy life to its full potential.
I love working outdoors and I always try my hardest to work in the outdoor environment no matter what the weather as much as I can. I also love doing activities with the children as well taking the children on days out to local parks, gardens, beaches etc. We also love to visit the woods which we own and go swimming in our pool in the summer.
I have 3 children aged 16,18 and 21 who are all girls, who have grown up with children in the home and have grown with them building relationships and making memories with all of the children. They all really enjoy the company and atmosphere of the children being around the house. They also love to get involved with the children.
We have a dog called Bundle who is very used to children and being pulled about by them. He is very cute and friendly.
I work all year round. I worked throughout the Coronavirus pandemic.
I am an ofstead registered childminder GOOD with OUTSTANDING!
My Experience
After working with adults with learning disabilities for over 15 years in 2009 I decided that I would change my career and become a childminder! I have now been an ofstead registered childminder for 13 years! I can honestly say from my heart that I really love my job and have a passion to help the development and growth of children. Being a childminder allows me to be free and give the children different opportunities each day through doing activities and going out on days out in which are fun and exciting.
My Qualifications
I also have the following qualifications:
- NVQ level 3 diploma
- Paediatric First Aid Certified
- Safeguarding and child protection Certified Level 3
- Food hygiene level 2 certified
- Fully insured
- Online safety
- FGM
- Prevent duty/radicalisation
I participate in ongoing training in all the above areas and more to continue my professional development.
My Availability
I work Monday -Thursday between the hours of 8 and 6
I also offer after school care and collect children from the local school which is Bishops Lydeard Primary school

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
I am £45.00 a day, Monday-Thursday between the hours of 8-6 o’clock. The £45.00 includes a hot tea and a dessert.
I also offer an after school pick up from the local school, Bishops Lydeard Primary school which is £17.50 from when school finishes to 6 o’clock. This includes a snack after school, hot tea and a dessert.
I accept childcare vouchers, Tax free vouchers and I am also register to accept government 2 year old and 3&4 year old funding.
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Bishops Lydeard Church of England Primary School
