About myself
I'm Lorraine a Ofsted Registered Childminder with a GOOD Ofsted rating, recently graded this year 20024
I have been running Raven's Nest since 2013, and I work with Early Years children from Newborn upwards.
Being a Childminder I am able to offer children a homely environment where they can feel happy, confident, and safe as they would in their own home.
I can provide Snacks and generally a hot meal at lunch times.
I offer a range of activities for children which, (for example include)
Gardening
Trips to the park & out locally
Cooking
Arts and Crafts
Reading
Singing
Dancing and many more...
I tailor our activities to the children's interests as I find this supports their learning and development of each child.
I keep my training upto date such as
Basic Food & Hygiene
Safeguarding Children
First Aid
I also attend lots of other Childcare training and certificates can be viewed.
I have run Raven's Nest for 11 years.

Lorraine is a great communicator and has no trouble gaining my childs confidence and therefore encouraging good behavior and kindness and compassion to others.
All in all i am throughly happy with the level of care my child recieves i am certain that being in such a positive and happy environment is helping him to develop into a confident and self assured little boy. Lorraine has helped provide a great start in life.
