About Me
WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, VACANCY TERM & NON TERM TIME Hello, my name is Mandy and I live in a happy home in North Leatherhead, five minutes from the M25, full of fun and laughter.
I live with my fiancé and two grown up daughters. We have a cat who likes to go out during the day and a hamster.
I enjoy taking the children out to playgroups, soft play, story time, rhyme time, etc. I have many local parks and I’m also close to National Trust areas and farms. I work from my lounge and I like to provide a home from home experience for the children. The children would be given the opportunity to learn through play and structured activities, with a mix of child led and adult led activities. I work within the EYFS Framework and would provide you with a daily report when you pick up your child. I really enjoy working with children and thrive on them learning new things and enjoying what they are doing. I pride myself on being friendly, caring, approachable, professional and giving my all to the care and development of the children I look after.
My Experience
I have been childminding since January 2014 but have had experience of looking after children between the ages of 6 months to 4 years in a day care setting that I was at for three years before having my second daughter. I have been a parent since May 2005 and have had experience of new borns.

As well as my 12 hour Paediatrics First Aid that is updated every three years in accordance with Ofsted, I also take it upon myself to do online refresher Paediatric First Aid to keep my memory up to date every year. This isn’t an Ofsted requirement but something I wish to do. Safeguarding is every three years too in accordance with Ofsted but I also do other Safeguarding courses that may need addressing and for my personal development.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
£7.50 per hour. Healthy meals would be provided unless parent would prefer to bring own food for their child. Day to day activities would be paid for such as soft play, toddler groups. I would ask for a small contribution on days out such as going to a farm, seaside, museum, etc.

Mandy has looked after my son Henry since he was 10 months old. She has all of his favourite toys ready for when he arrives and always has an activity planned even if it is just a trip to the park!
We receive pictures and updates during the day and Henry is always so happy at drop off. Mandy is also very flexible with late drop offs and early pick ups. It’s clear that Mandy genuinely cares for the children she looks after and provides a loving and safe environment. Henry will really miss Mandy.

Thank you for the lovely review. Henry has been such a pleasure to look after and we will miss him. He is a wonderful little boy and I know he will grow up to be a lovely young man.
Mandy has been looking after our daughter Maevis for over a year. Maevis is really happy with Mandy and enjoys her 4 days a week with her. Mandy cooks lovely vegetarian meals, goes out on day trips, play groups and rhyme time which we get photos and daily reports. We really appreciate Mandy looking after our daughter. Thank you.

Thank you very much for the lovely review. Maevis is a wonderful little girl to look after. Seeing her grow and learn is fantastic.
Mandy has looked after my daughter, Ada, every Friday since September 2021, when she was 13 months old and I am so pleased with the care that Ada receives. Mandy provides an excellent learning environment and has helped her enormously in her growth and development. Ada initially found drop-off difficult, but she soon settled in and is now a confident little girl, who walks in excitedly, and talks non-stop on the way home about what a lovely day she’s had!
Ada loves the company of the other children in Mandy’s care and it has been lovely to see her interact so well with them; building her social skills and her confidence. Mandy has been very accommodating with any last-minute changes to drop-offs or pick-ups and this flexibility has been much appreciated. Thank you, Mandy!

Thank you so much for the lovely review. Ada is an absolute delight and it has been wonderful to see her grow and development her personality and skills. Our whole family will miss her when she moves on to the next chapter and it would be lovely to stay in touch to see her develop further and how she’s getting on.
Been with Mandy for a while now and she has been brilliant from the start. She's been more than accommodating with working with my horrible working hours to look after my daughter. She provides a great learning environment and my daughter has become such a fiercely independent and well behaved one year old. Mandy has been such a lovely influence and my daughter loves to see her everyday. Thank you Mandy :)
