About Me
My name is Louise and I live in a quiet road in Feltham. I work alongside my sister Claire Bowron from my spacious 3 bedroom home which has a secure, large back garden full of educational resources which include mud kitchens, literacy corner, sensory table and fairy garden. Children are able to explore freely to encourage individual preferences and to develop self confidence whilst having a close relationship with both Claire and I. The children also have a dedicated learning room which has a home corner offering different role play activities, a quiet corner for reading and also a variety of learning opportunities covering all areas of the EYFS areas of learning. We offer an exceptional service where children have a close bond with us both and the children in the setting. We are both Level 3 qualified and attend regular training to keep informed and have a strong ethos of working together with parents to ensure their child's individual needs are met and track their development so that any delays can be assisted appropriately in line with our recognised experience. We like to share the child's learning journey with their parents/carers and do so by sharing newsletters, photo journals, learning and development trackers, artwork and daily diaries etc displaying their development against the EYFS areas of learning whilst in the setting.
By Claire and I working together this also allows the children to benefit from having a close bond with their childminders whilst enjoying the high interaction level with other children in the setting. By working together with Claire this allows the children to interact with children of similar and different pre-school ages thus strengthening their interpersonal skills and self-confidence in preparation for their next steps into school life. The children have the close relationship of the traditional childminder provision whilst also having the interaction level of a nursery giving them the best learning opportunities of both environments.
Both Claire and I are individually registered with Ofsted and both individually graded Outstanding in all areas in October 2022. We are both registered to accept Early Years Funding for 9 months, 2, 3 and 4 year olds.
We can provide childcare covering a wide area as collection and drop off may be available upon request and offer both full time £6.50 per hour and part time/term time only £7 per hour.

"My son went to Louise (& Claire) from when he was 6 months old to 3 years (June 2012 to December 2015). He only left due to me moving job and needing childcare 30 miles away. He absolutely adored Louise & Claire, their families and the other children they looked after. Everyday they went somewhere with the children which my son loved and I'm sure this is why he is so confident mixing with different people and when he goes to new places now. Their homes are welcoming with a great range of toys and communication between Louise and me was brilliant. We had a daily diary and also a learning folder with pictures, photos & details of how he was developing. Both my son and I really miss Louise and Claire and I have no hesitation in recommending them".

My Experience
Claire and I have over twenty years experience in childcare which include experience as a nursery practitioner, private nanny and over 13 years as childminder. We both also have children of our own which are in full time education / employment.
We have experience of premature babies and children under CAMHS with special needs such as development delay, hearing and speach impairment, autism and also intolerances.
We both have extensive additional training to include: CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Home-based Childcare, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding Children, FGM, Prevent Duty, Expectations of Behaviour, Delivering the EYFS, Schemas, Supporting Children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs, Raising Develops Concerns with Parents and Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering qualifications. Both Claire and I have also completed the specialised qualification NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Childrens and Young Peoples Workforce (formally known as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare) which is not a compulsory course due to taking over 18 months to complete. We are both ICO registered, are fully insured and have full enhanced disclosures.

Louise provided childcare for our son for just over a year. Each day was filled with trips out to playgroups, soft play, parks, walks, playtime in the garden and work on colour, number and letter recognition. Plenty of activities throughout the day with water play, play dough, music & dance, story time and the many toys which Louise has. Louise provides detailed daily updates with pictures and summaries. Our little one very much enjoyed his time with Louise and Claire, forming friendships and growing in confidence.

Thanks so much, he was an absolute joy to have in the setting.
Our son has been with Louise (and Claire) for 4 years from Sep 2014 to Sep 2018 and only left their full-time care when he started reception class at a local school. We can highly recommend their services. They are loving and caring childminders. Louise regularly sent updates and photos via whatsapp regarding their days out. We like to look back at the activity/photo diary that Louise updated throughout the years of all their adventures.

My daughter went to Louise since she was 10 month back in April 2016, She always and really enjoyed her time there and made a lot of friends. Even on weekends when we been traveling somewhere, she is very often been asking "When we gonna go to Louise?" I was also amazed how quickly my daughter progressed in developing her social and communication skills under Louise, she also been always updating me with pictures and details on how is she doing and developing. Louise and her sister Claire always have something planned, visiting different places, different farms, picnics and activities, always fun and entertaining. It was a very happy place for my daughter and a peace of mind for me. Both Louise and Claire are really reliable, fun, easy to communicate and were truly great with my little girl.

My son went to Louise (& Claire) from when he was 6 months old to 3 years (June 2012 to December 2015). He only left due to me moving job and needing childcare 30 miles away. My daughter has been with louise since the beginning of oct...i am very happy with her. My daughter has a lot of fun with her and is always a happy and bubbly person when she comes home from her time with louise ...she makes a lot of friends there and has massively progressed in her communication and social skills...i am happy i choose louise to be her child minder and am looking forward to seeing my daughters future progress though louise . i hightly recommend her as she is very reliable . Louise is always on time to pick her up and drop her off..i haven't had any issues.

Louise has been looking after our son since November 2010, when he was 7 months old. She has been flexible, reliable and professional towards us, and caring and kind towards our son. His development has continued speedily under her care, and he comes home happy at the end of each day. I genuinely feel Louise is a brilliantly intuitive minder for children, using a blend of her own natural skills with the wishes of the parents, to create the perfect environment for children to flourish. She keeps them busy and active, which is great for our tireless little boy, but makes sure they stay home if they are feeling tired and need a little tlc. I would recommend her heartily to anyone with a child of any age.
