Our son is now at school where he settled in brilliantly having only ever attended Michelle’s setting. She took great care to make sure he had all the skills he needed to succeed in spite of the disruption of COVID. He attended Michelle’s setting after school for some time which definitely helped transition into school- for him and his little sister.
Our daughter now attends full time and also loves the setting and is thriving. She loves their trips out on the bus visiting all sorts of places taking advantage of quieter during school hours. We still get daily photo updates, frequent progress reports and menus for all the fresh food being made for meals and snacks. We feel so lucky we found Michelle.
Our daughter is 2 and a half, she has been going to Michelle’s for almost a year. Her little brother will be starting soon and we’re so excited for him. Having looked at a large number of childminders in the area, we were so pleased to finally find Michelle. Through her dedicated care and attention our little girl is flourishing. Michelle made the settling in process a great experience and really calmed our nerves. We love sending our daughter in knowing she is in such caring and capable hands (she likes it a bit too much because she asks to go in on weekends too!). Michelle has an exceptional setting, provides delicious healthy meals and shares beautiful pictures of all the wonderful activities they get up to each day. If you are looking for a small, nurturing and safe environment where your child will flourish, look no further! Thanks Michelle.
Our son was in this setting from the age of 1 until he started school and he really loved it! We were extremely happy with the care he received, he progressed brilliantly during his time there and it set him up so well for starting school. He had learned phonics and basic reading as well as numeracy and is now getting on really well in these areas at school. Every day I would receive photos and clear updates of what the children had been up to which was brilliant, they had great trips out which I enjoyed seeing.
When I had my second child I sent her as well and like her brother she settled there happily, unfortunately we moved out of the area otherwise I would have loved my daughter to stay there.
So here we are one year later and we could not be happier. Our son just turned two and he knows all his numbers to 10, colours, animals and is starting on letters. Michelle has been teaching him about food. They grow tomatoes, carrots and clean them before eating. He can now pour his own water with meals, is learning to bake and washing his hands. He is loving his new independence. As parents we enjoy multiple daily photos via WhatsApp, a daily diary full of details about the day's activities and outdoor play every day in all weather. Absolutely brilliant. As working mums good childcare is everything.
We have been settling our son in with Michelle for 2 weeks having met Michelle in September. Michelle has been brilliant. She already knows exactly what our son likes and dislikes even after such a short time. She has also been very patient and kind with my fears about starting child care for the first time. We are so lucky to have found her!
