About Me
Welcome to Little Chicos! I am an Ofsted registered childminder, my name is Rosa, married mum of 3 grown up children. We live in a spacious three bedroom house situated in a quiet area of Bedford, since 1992.
I provide a home from home quality childminding service in a safe, smoke free, friendly home environment for children age 3 month to 10 years old, depending on the needs of the parent/carer this can be part time, full time places, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, 5 days a week. I treat the children as if they were my own. I genuinely care about the progress and welfare of each child and I put all my effort to provide the best possible environment for them to achieve and thrive.
A typical child’s day will always include activities that support the main seven areas of learning and development such as crafts, cutting and sticking, painting, playdough, cooking, story time, singing, dancing, music and musical instruments. Time is also set aside for physical and free play, with a range of toys and equipment to stimulate imagination and encourage independence in learning.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Little Chicos offers full or part time care Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm throughout the year. These hours may be flexible to suit individual family needs
The Hourly rate is £6.00 per child, this fee includes snack and drinks.
Settling in: No Fees - Period prior to start of contract of two days (max of 2 hours per day)
Childminder illness: No fee.
Childminder holidays: Half Fees
Child/Parent illness: Full Fees.
Child holidays: Half Fees
Bank Holidays: Closed / No Fees
I do not normally work on bank holiday however in an emergency or special circumstances this can be considered, fees will be charged at double the normal rate.

From the moment we met Rosa we knew we wanted her to look after our little boy. We had such a positive vibe and warm welcome from her. Rosa was very thorough with talking us through everything. She has a lovely home that has been adapted to suit the needs of the children. Our little boy is always so excited to be dropped off and is always so happy when he is picked up. In just over 3 months he has learnt so much and Rosa has been absolutely excellent with helping him develop and keeping us updated along with pictures of our little boy. We are so grateful for Rosa and couldn’t recommend her enough!

We are so, so lucky to have found Rosa.
We had childcare sorted until there was a last minute change and, thankfully, we were able to secure a place at Little Chicos.
From the minute I met her, Rosa made me feel at ease. The home care environment is lovely, safe, has loads to engage the kids with and my little one was obviously very happy around her right away. She also provided clear and detailed information after our initial visit around her policies and processes, and provided information about her qualifications, she's very professional and always ensures her paperwork is up to date.
We have had childcare provided by Rosa for over a year now and genuinely cannot find fault. She is so knowledgeable about child development and works with our little one and his own pace, encouraging him to constantly learn new skills and develop in all areas.
With myself as a first time Mum, Rosa is really patient and supports me by explaining processes that I am unsure of.
I genuinely can't put into words how fortunate we feel to have Rosa as part of our son's life, and I can guarantee that any child under her care will be loved and nurtured in the best way. She is a diamond.

When my husband and I were looking into child care options when I was returning to work we came across rosa on here. When we met her we instantly knew she was the person to look after our daughter. Our daughter learnt so much with rosa and loved the 3 years she’s spent with her. So when our son was born in November we knew there was no one else we wanted to care for him. A true friend for life and great chile care provider
