About Me
Hi,
My name is Ewa, I have been providing a nurturing, fun and safe environment for children to socialize, learn and grow for over 10 years. I finished HNC Early Education and Childcare in June 2017. I offer loving home environment with personalized care for every child.
FUNDED HOURS CHILDCARE - Parents, please be aware that I am now registered to work in partnership with the council to deliver the 1140hrs, which means I am able to offer the funded hours to your child. As well as receiving your hours from nursery, I can care for eligible 2-year-olds and 3 & 4-year-olds. I provide full time or part-time places, fully funded by Edinburgh Lothian council.
I live together with my kids, partner and dogs. My first language is Polish.
If you can do what you like, you do it the best as you can.
My Experience
I became a registered childminder in 2013 and I have been working with kids since that.
My Qualifications
I attended to High School with specialty in social sciences and finished HNC Early Education and Childcare last year. I have been doing some voluntary work to improve my knowledge and qualifications.

I've been using Ewa's services for a few months now and I believe I can wholeheartedly recommend her. She provides a very interesting schedule of activities for the children, takes them places, they can explore and learn a lot. She also provides nourishing and very tasty meals and snacks - our wee one has been really enjoying them! I've heard of children being fed crisps and processed food in other places - fortunately it has never been the case with Ewa, she always cooks from scratch. I found her also having a good rapport with children, she can soothe the wee one in the rare occasion when I really need to leave quickly for work and he just has a day of not wanting to let me go. She is also really following the health guidelines and regulations - always letting me know if the wee one has high temperature and checking whether to give him paracetamol. Also by asking parents to keep children at home if they are seriously unwell, in order not to spread the infection - it might sound tough, but I really appreciate her care. Ewa also has a special playroom built in her garden, so the children has a great place to play if the weather is really foul. Last, but not least, I asked Ewa to talk to the wee one in Polish, as I wanted him to have contact with a part of his heritage and she was happy to do it. Obviously, she speaks to other children in English if they are of non-Polish origin.
I could write a lot more, but I guess it will be enough to say at this point that I would definitely recommend Ewa and hope that our child is going to stay in her care for a long while!

Ewa has been looking after our 1-year-old daughter for the last three months, and we're really happy with how things are going. Our daughter loves going to Ewa's in the mornings and always comes back cheerful. Ewa is super caring and kind. She fills the days with fun activities and trips to different places. She also keeps us updated with lots of helpful feedback about our daughter's progress and is always easy to talk to. We highly recommend Ewa to anyone looking for a great childminder.

An outstanding childminder 💫and we have been so lucky to find Ewa.
My daughter has been attending Ewa’s for 1 year. I can't emphasise enough what a fantastic person she really is. She has been a massive help to everything, from helping me with my daughter’s behaviour to potty training in no time! It has been the best decision I have ever made sending her here.
Ewa was wonderful with my daughter she looks after her and had a loving, welcoming environment.
We got daily updates on what they were doing whether it was on trips to the farms,visits to the park, strawberrys picking or playing at home with the toys and interactive games. She cooks meals that put me to shame!
If you are looking for a reliable, experienced, friendly and caring childminder, I honestly couldn’t recommend Ewa enough!

We are thankful with Ewa as she looked after baby girl for couple of months. Our baby bond so quickly, she loved to go with Ewa. Ewa always plans amazing things to do outside or inside for the kids and she prepares healthy food. Our baby loves her and her family, and of course her dogs. We highly recommend Ewa as a childminder.

Ewa looked after our little girl for nearly a year and has been absolutely amazing. She really did provide a second home for our daughter who loved it there and settled very quickly. She’s very caring and full of energy. She’s always taking the children out on adventures and provides lots of opportunities for learning and fun. Her family is just as welcoming. She provides healthy home-cooked meals throughout the days. We highly recommend her!
