About Me
I have been working as an Ofsted registered Childminder since 1998, having trained and worked as an NNEB nanny beforehand, working in private houses, nurseries and schools.
I live with my husband Chris. My young grandson visits regularly.
I greatly enjoy working with children have received a 'GOOD' rating from Ofsted after an inspection in February 2017.
Everyone living in the house currant has a CRB check.
I work within the guidelines of the currant Early years foundation stage.
My aim as a Childminder is to encourage all children to reach their full potential by offering a stimulating environment, both within the setting and on outings.
My Experience
I trained as an NNEB nanny after leaving school and have always cared for children. I have experinace working in home enviroments, schools and nurseries.
I have cared for children from three months old until they leave primary school at the age of eleven.
I attend courses offered by Slough sure start including disability awareness, sharing feelings, engaging and working with parents and quality provision for two years old.
My Qualifications
A level four qualification in childcare with the open university
Paediatric first aid certificate.
NNEB
Certificate in childcare practice, level 1,2 and 3.
Disability awareness one day training
Sharing feelings training.
I keep up to date with safeguarding courses
My Availability
I have spaces available Wednesday and Thursdays. plus after school spaces for Priory school pick up.

Dorothy has been looking after our son since he was a 3 month old baby, now he is 11 years old and will be starting secondary school later in the year.
What lead us to our decision to choose Dorothy to look after our son was not just her professional qualifications, skills and experience, she also provides a wide range of activities for her children, including regular outings during school holidays. This makes school holidays a fun time which our son really looks forward to.
Dorothy continues to develop new ideas, engages all of her children as well as parents, promotes fairness and can be relied upon to handle all situations in the best way possible.
