About Me
I'm 20 years old, and love looking after children, I'm a regular babysitter for a family in Hertfordshire and looking to expand. I’m currently a night carer on a dementia ward in a care home, I used to be a supply/cover SEN teaching assistant for around Hertfordshire but still thinking of exactly what I would like to do as a full time career. I would love to have a job that I will enjoy, I take pride and I am a good listener, I always follow instructions to high standard. I'm not the type of girl to go out partying and getting drunk every weekend, three times a week I help out my mum with childcare by looking after my 3 year old brother and have been doing this since he was 6 months old, but did help my mum when he was a newborn aswell. I would be happy to help with anything else around the house if need be and can stay over the night if wanted/needed.
My Experience
My aunt has a 5 year old boy and when he was 2 weeks old I started helping my mum babysit, then started babysitting him myself, I also babysit my mums friends 2 boys, one who has ADHD and they have said I can control a situation incredibly well. I now look after my 3 year old brother two to three times a week on my own and have been doing this since he was 6 months old. I used to babysit regularly for a family in Stevenage who have an 8 year old girl and 13 year old boy, I picked the girl up from school and helped with any issues regarding homework, I also did their cleaning whilst I was round, I now house sit/dog sit when they are on holiday. I babysit for another family on an irregular basis who have a 4 year old girl and 8 year old boy, I put them to bed and make sure they are alright through the night, sometimes they have their friends kids round aswell that differ in ages who I look after while I’m there. I know I don't have that much experience but I can look after any age kids and I can also help with homework or learning as I have finished my GCSE's and got good grades.
My Qualifications
I have Health and Social Care level 3 (Merit)
I have 11 GCSE’s grade B-D including Maths and English.
My Availability
I'm available most evenings in the week, due to me working nights at a Care home I don’t have set days that I work so if I was to babysit overnight it would have to be on an irregular basis as wouldn’t be able to commit and I’d need to know in advance.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £5.00 per hour
- Nannying from £6.00 per hour (gross)
I'm not really fussed about prices would depend on situation and age, I also would say I would like the parent to give me a price they are happy to pay me as I am not that qualified, just looking to help out more.
