About Me
My name is Lisa and I have been an Ofsted registered childminder for almost 16 years and I love it!
On our last ofsted inspection (13/04/18) we got graded outstanding on all areas.
I work full time with my daughter jess who is 22 and my oldest daughter Danielle, 24, is also registered as my assistant to cover in emergencies. I also have a 16 year old daughter called Katie who loves helping out with the little ones and will be registered as our assistant soon too. Our girls love my job and enjoy helping/playing with the other children too.
My aim is for the children to come here and have fun while also learning so that mum and dad can go to work happy, knowing that their child/ren are happy and safe too.
I believe that children learn a lot by playing, exploring and having fun and all areas of the Eyfs can be covered by being outdoors and with this in mind we spend a lot of time outdoors. We love exploring in the woods, going on nature walks, going to various parks, feeding the ducks, going to soft play, play group, blue reef aquarium, the beach etc.
I try to keep the children in the same routine that they are used to to the best of my ability and I am flexible with days/hours that I am needed.
I pick up/drop off at Westerhope primary and rainbows pre school.
My Experience
I have lots of experience with children as my oldest daughter is 24. I have been childminding for almost 16 years now. I am also an accredited childminder.

Paediatric first aid in childcare

Level 2 award in food safety in catering
Advanced apprenticeship in children's care, learning and development,
Level 3 NVQ in children's care, learning and development
HE foundation certificate in: English language, Human biology and quantitative methods
