About Me
I am an experienced and competent child carer who loves to work with children. I have two grown son’s in their thirties. I enjoy the outdoors, singing, practical, craft and domestic activities. I am able to form good working relationships with families, both parents and children of all ages. I am a calm and caring person.
My Experience
I have experience in many different childcare settings and have been an Ofsted registered childminder since September 2016, having worked as a nanny for four years immediately before then. I have been a parent for 33 years, I have worked in Steiner Early Years for over 10 years, as an assistant, a student teacher, a parent and child group leader and an early years teacher working with the 3-6 year olds. I have worked as a nursery nurse in various day care settings and in a Montessori day care centre.
My Qualifications
My Early Years qualification was completed in March 2004 and is equivalent to an NVQ level 5. My latest paediatric first aid course was in September 2024.
My Availability
I childmind from 8am till 6pm, I am currently full. Happy to put you on a waiting list.

£9 per hour with a minimum of an 8 hour day and two days per week.
