Hello, I am April and I am an experienced nanny of 15 years. I am also mummy to my boys aged 10 and 6 years.
I am looking for a 1/2/3 mornings untill 2/2.30 per week position in chichester/bognor/wittering or surrounding areas. I am a happy bubbly person always keen to help in any way I can, always seeking to do the best I can. I enjoy outings with children and always try to keep children in my care busy and engaged in activities. We have so many lovely groups and outdoor spaces to visit in our area I love to make the most of them. I always seek to follow routines and interests of children in my care and keep their environment clean and tidy. I enjoy cooking and baking and where possible try to ensure children are involved in the preparation of the food they enjoy, which is always a fun activity.
I am a non smoker.
I have my own car, which i would be more than happy to use to take charges for days out and to groups etc. I also have my own carseats, boosters and pushchairs. I have a clean drivers licence.

My Experience
Please note some of my roles have overlapped with working for more than one family at a time.
March 15 - present time- nanny to 3.5 year old girl and boys age 9 and 11. Mainly sole change of the little girl from when she was 6 months old, taking to weekly activities, toddler groups and outdoor areas. Light housework and cooking while she napped. Hours have now decreased to 1 evening a week.
September 2014-present time- Nanny/PA to a lovely 9 year old boy with special needs on a Saturday along with his 1 year old sister and 5 year old brother.
From march 2013-June 17 Nanny/housekeeper to 8 and 6 year old girls. Cared for these girls Since they were 2 and newborn and still babysit for them regularly. Has been so lovely to be with this family for such a long time and what them grow.
Temporary Nanny for 3 month old girl and 2.5year old boy October/November 2013.
Mothers help with a 6 month old baby boy from October 2012 - September 2013 (relocated abroad)
4 years as a mother help with a baby girl from newborn dec 10- September 15. All aspects of care from 2 weeks old.
1 year as an after school nanny for 6 and 14 year old girls. ( position ended feb13 due to mother being made redundant)
2 years in a babyroom of a nursery (3months to 2 years)
1 year in a preschool.
My Qualifications
NVQ level 3 in childcare and education.
Paediatric first aid training.
CRB check.
