About Me
I am registered with CIW as a childminder and can care for children aged between 6 weeks to 12 years of age. I live in the Cowbridge area and currently look after children that attend the local schools as well as pre-schoolers. My first language is English but I use some incidental welsh as well. I have a very friendly golden retriever, who is anyone's best friend if they tickle her tummy.
I like to get out with the children when the weather allows and often take them to one of the local parks, play centres or to farms. If time allows I may venture further afield and in the past have taken children to Margam Park, Victoria Park, St. Fagan's museum, nearby castles and the beach.
I have a garden where the children are allowed to play, which is safe and secure and they can play with the sand and water toys. There are a variety of toys and games for the children to play with inside, as well as books and jigsaws. I have a good selection of art and craft materials that the children can use and 'Play Doh' is always a favourite.
My Experience
I have a diploma in Nursery Nursing and have worked in a variety of settings from daycare nursery to primary schools. I have also helped out on a voluntary basis with summer clubs and other organisations. I have been childminding since 2011. I find it very rewarding looking after children and watching them progress, I take great pleasure celebrating with children when they achieve their goals or have simply had a great day in school!

My Availability
I have availability for pre-school children and places for after school care. My opening hours are 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
