About Me
with two children ( both at school) so I know local schools and activities.i enjoy walks and i am a member of the national trust so we often visit the play area in Nostel Priory, We have taken five children in one visit and had a great day in a safe enviroment so child minding is natural to me .Our house is very child friendly lots of pens,books lego etc and i encourage the children so they develop in a planned fun way.i love music and dance.I take child safety very serious ,keeping my policies up to date .
My recent and first OFSTED visit was rated good of which i am very proud of.
I have recently been accepted to work on the connect scheme to support children with special educational needs {SEND)
I like to take children out of my setting to give them fun experiences in different development areas, these include elsecar heritage center and park,indoor play areas at least once a week,pontefract castle,the hepworth wakefield,libraries reading and i meet regular with other child minders giving the children pre school experience of larger groups
My Experience
i have two daughters of my own and am very familure with childrens requirements, entertainments and nourishment,i have experience with large numbers of children at parties and sleep overs have always been fun but within reason and times.
i do not let children watch unsuitable films etc and follow the guidlines on dvds etc for the appropriate ages

My Availability
my availabilty will be monday to friday 7am untill 6pm but i can be flexible as i know most people finish work at 5pm and theres travel time etc

I can't say enough about Jo and her other half Paul... They're amazing people and sooooo good with kids. My best childcare I ever have!!My son with some behaviour issues had a lot of care from them, I know where they are and I'll never regret my choice . I can't be more grateful to meet you guys ❤️ All the best from me and Alex xxxx

Jo and Paul are fantastic child care providers. They have a home from home setting, which is exactly what I wanted for my 3 year old son and 10 year old daughter. Both my children love going to Jo & Paul's. My 10 year old daughter was given the choice between going to theirs or after school club (where a lot of her friends go) and she chose to go to theirs - that speaks volumes! Jo & Paul are friendly and caring. It was difficult for me to leave my youngest because I'd never done it before, id never had a childminder because id been a stay-at-home mum for almost 14 years! However, my mind was soon put at ease and I knew quickly that my son was very happy with them. They take him on days out all over the place - Nottingham Forest, the railway museum, Hemsworth Water Park (to name a few) and he always has such a great time and talks about what he's seen and learnt with such enthusiasm. He has already, in just a few months, built bonds with Jo & Paul and speaks very fondly of them. I like how they look at each child individually. They find out their likes and dislikes and tailor the child care to suit, even having particular toys or days out following what a child is interested in. I say child care but they go above and beyond that really. I couldn't be happier with the level of care my children get and cannot thank Jo and Paul enough for all they do.
