About Me
I have 2 children of my own who are now 19 and 28. I have a 18 month old grandson which I have had hands on experience with since birth as he and his Mum have been living with me. I also teach Baby Massage. I keep active not only through my work but at Pilates and Zumba. I also enjoy cooking and gardening. I like to travel when I can exploring towns,markets and eating out.
My Experience
I have had two of my own children and have been working in Early Years for the past 15 years. I am currently working at a Children s Centre. In this role I provided play sessions for children and their carers, this included Stay and Play, Messy Play, Cooking, Music and Movement and a Post Natal Group. I also teach Baby Massage. I have also supported a child with Autism from Reception to Year 3 in School, worked with 3-4year olds in a Day Care Nursery and worked as a Nanny.
My Qualifications
I have an NVQ 3 in Early Years Care and Education.
Certified Infant Massage Instructor.
Peadiatric First Aid
Safeguarding Level 2
Food Hygiene
Music and Movement
Solihull Behaviour Management
Many other Early Years certificates continuing my Professional Development and updating my knowledge.
My Availability
I am currently working full time but my contract with The Childrens Centre finishes in Spring 2016 so I am looking for around 30 hours plus a week over 3-5 days although I can be flexible as I have no other commitments. I would be able to do overnight stays or babysitting for the family if needed.
