About Me
Part-time Nanny/Mother's Help (min 10 hours a week) From Jan 2025. Wed + Fridays Afternoons.
My Requirements
We are a warm and growing family of four (plus a friendly dog), with children aged 1 and 3, and a new baby due in March 2025. We're looking for a caring and flexible nanny/mother's help to assist in managing our busy household, offering support with childcare and light housekeeping.
Job Overview:
This is primarily a mother's help role to assist in caring for our children. I’ll be home and need extra hands to manage our days. Responsibilities will vary depending on the needs of the children and the day’s activities.
Days Required
Approx. 10 hours a week. Some weeks may require more depending on our needs.
Wednesday + Friday Afternoons for about five hours on each day
As I am also at home we can be pretty flexible — we can adjust the hours as and when you need.
Key Responsibilities:
Helping care for our 1-year-old so I can take the 3-year-old to activities or vice versa.
Sole charge of both children at times while I attend appointments or have some time alone.
Once the baby arrives, assisting with childcare but not responsible for all three children at once. For example, taking the older two to the park or helping with two children while I’m with one.
Open to occasional overnight stays and helping with night feeds once the baby arrives (we formula feed).
Light household duties such as emptying the dishwasher, putting laundry away (no heavy cleaning tasks like vacuuming or bathrooms).
Evening babysitting occasionally on weekends.
Open to travelling with us on family holidays (with notice, and all expenses covered).
About You:
Flexible and reliable with childcare experience.
Okay with dogs and be okay with taking the dog for a walk (very friendly cavapoo)
Comfortable working alongside me at home.
Enjoys being part of a family, warm, and nurturing.
Open to occasional overnights and traveling with our family.
Happy to help with light housekeeping.
We are a relaxed, flexible family. If you need different hours one week, we're happy to accommodate and make it work. We’re looking for someone who feels like a natural extension of our team and is comfortable with the ever-changing needs of family life.
If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you! Please get in touch with your experience and availability.
Requirements (please do not apply unless you have ALL of the below):
Must have a valid DBS check.
First Aid training is essential.
