About Me
I am a 38 year old Ofsted registered nanny with 17 years of early years experience working with young children. I live in Bristol and have my own car so I am able to drive to other areas of Bristol to work. I enjoy working with children and I am looking for a Nannying role to cover summer holidays. I love to keep fit and active, I am a keen rock climber and surfer. I love the outdoors, and love to go camping every summer. I also love going for bike rides and enjoy being outside in any weather!
My Experience
I have experience of working with babies from 6 months up to children age 14. I have a level 3 diploma in childcare and a degree in Sociology where half of my degree covered education studies. I have also experience of doing my Early Years Teacher training for 5 months, and covered child development modules, styles of learning and the theory and pedagogy related to young children’s learning and development. I am also a trained Forest School teacher and run weekly Forest School sessions. I am currently training to be a paediatric Occupational Therapist.
I have worked in a range of roles, I have been a nanny, I have worked in Primary Schools as a teaching assistant within a reception and year one class. I have also worked in Nurseries and Pre-Schools. I have also been a Pre-School room leader with the following responsibilities: Second Deputy Manager, Outdoor lead, Music lead, Early Language Co-ordinator, Special Educational Needs and Disability Co-ordinator, Curriculum lead, and Forest School leader.
I plan weekly activities for children to go to which include child centered messy play, music, art and exploring outdoors, and swimming. I also create fun and engaging activities for children at home and outdoors, based on their interests.
I love the challenge of working with children, and I am motivated and passionate in supporting them to learn through play based learning. I strongly believe in following a child's interests to help engage them in their learning. I take a child centered approach but also follow parents wishes regarding behaviour management for their child.
I have my own transport, I am First Aid trained, safe guarding trained, have childcare qualifications, and have a current DBS check.

12 GCSE's Grades A-C
3 A'levels Grades A-C
Degree in Sociology - 2:2 ( half of the modules taken are Education Studies).
Diploma in Childcare - level 3
NVQ Level 3 Forest School Leader

- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (net)
My nannying fees are £16 an hour.
Babysitting is £12 an hour weekdays and weekends.
