My Summary
About Me
I have been an Ofsted registered child-minder for 24 years and have looked after children varying in age from 4 months - 12 years old. I have 2 children boys ages 29 and 25 years old. I aim to offer a stimulating environment for my minded children and have a wide range of toys and play materials for all, offering a fun and safe environment for the children,in a healthy and happy, home from home environment.
I attend various groups including child-minder groups, mother and toddler groups, music making groups as well as visiting local parks, libraries with other child-minders and the children they care for.
I also used a child-minder for my first child so feel I have a good understanding of the feelings around leaving your child with another carer.
My last Ofsted inspection was in September 2024 and the outcome was "Good", and my past or current parents are all happy to provide references.
I prefer to work term time only but do consider other options.
My Experience
I have 29 years experience of being a mum, 24 years of being a child-minder and additional experience of running a mother and toddler group for 5 years and currently help in my church, early years Sunday school.
My Qualifications
I am up-to-date withal the EYFS courses and requirements
I hold a current First Aid Certificate which is updated every year

Jackie looked after my son since he was 9 months old very caring and accommodating. My son was/is very fussy with food and sleep but Jackie was persistent with getting him in a routine. Jackie would take him to bouncy castle and toddlers groups which my son really enjoyed. Jackie is very flexible and easy going, I was doing adhoc days with my son. I would totally recommend Jackie for childcare, she has very nice set up at home with lots of toys and back garden to play. Thank you so much
