About Me
My name is Lisa and I live with my husband and two children aged 17 and 15 in West Hunsbury. I have been a registered childminder for 13 years and have had the pleasure in looking after numbers of children who I have had from babys through to school age and then brothers and sisters. I offer a smoke free happy environment and lots of room for play. We live close to a park and also local nurseries and school where I also can pick up or drop off. We have a very large garden offering lots of play equipment and large play room. Over the years I have built up very good friendships with family's and it is lovely to still see the baby's that I have looked after now growing and moving through school.
My Experience
I have been childminding for 13 years, and have taken care of all ages from 4 months and over, I feel it is very important to work with parents especially in the early stages when the first few days and weeks are so crucial to settling in I know how upsetting this can be for both parents and baby/child, so I am very flexible and always advise a settling in period to begin. I have looked after a number of babys who I have taken care of until starting school and have then had brothers and sisters, this is a big compliment knowing that parents feel that they can come back to me again.
My Qualifications
I am registered with offsted, and have cashe level 3, and also hold a peadiatric 1st aid certificate. My biggest qualificiation is being a mum.

My availability is for full time or part time childcare for under fives.

Lisa has been a childminder to our son since he turned 14 months old. Now 5 months later we can confirm that she’s been a great choice. Lisa is caring, friendly and educative - our toddler continues to come back home with newly learnt skills each week. He smiles as we approach her house and runs inside (which started with tears right at the start so it’s amazing to see the bond develop). Lisa keeps us posted on his naps, food intake and moods. She is easy going, communicates about planned holiday, sickness or anything else has always been great. Her place is spacious and she also takes children out in her well sized garden where they have plenty to do. We are very lucky to have found Lisa.

I took to Lisa the moment I met her. She was so warming and friendly. Excellent communicator and nothing is too much of a problem for her. She is very easy going and her personality shines. My son has been going two weeks now and she said he has really taken to her, like she has him. Her house is a great size, very clean and safe for children to play in, a good garden for the children to play in during the summer too. I'd definitely recommend Lisa's services.

Lisa has been looking after our daughter now for 3 months and makes the pain of going back to work much less. She has taken our daughter from 6 months and every day daughter is happy and content and is coming on leaps and bounds. When your daughter gets excited to go to a childminders you know you are onto a winner! Very reasonably priced and clearly loves her job

Lisa is a fantastic child minder who cared for and looked after my youngest daughter from 6 months to 3 years old, before she went to preschool. Lisa looked after her for 2 full days a week and even took on board my eldest daughter in the school holidays. Both my girls enjoyed the variety of things to do at Lisa'a and the huge garden! Even though they are both at school now I still ask Lisa to look after them sometimes during the school holidays and she is more than happy to accommodate. Super value for money!
