My Requirements

We are looking for a loving, qualified and experienced nanny to help us with after school care mainly for our lovely affectionate and kind daughter, who is almost 13 years old, and also our son, who is 8 years old, in North London.

Candidates must:
- be non-smoking
- have a genuine love of children
- have experience or an interest in children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), preferably ASD
- be proactive, responsible, flexible, fun and friendly
- be fluent in English
- have at least 3 years of relevant experience with multiple children
- provide at least 2 impeccable references from prior employers (at least one UK-based)
- provide CRB check
- be OFSTED registered
- have training in First Aid

Candidates with a full UK driving license and driving experience in London and that are native Spanish speaking are preferred.

Details of the job:
We are looking for someone to work between 3 and 4 hours at least twice a week to pick up my daughter from Hornsey School for Girls in Crouch End and teach her how to commute first to Muswell Hill, where our son goes to Primary school, and then eventually to our home in Bounds Green. The candidate would also help her with her homework and learning to get to the shops and learn some basic life skills and become more independent. Helping with picking up our son on the way home and/or helping him a bit with homework would also be required.

Working hours:
- Thursday and Fridays 2.30pm to 6.30pm preferably but other days can be discussed.
- Babysitting some evenings a month as needed and depending on availability of candidate.

Duties:
- full responsibility for children’s safety, well-being and stimulation during working hours, including taking children to local activities if needed.
- school runs, homework support
- cooking children’s meals
