Hi my name is Stacey and after 27 years as a NVQ 3 nursery nurse with management experience I am now an ofsted registered childminder and also a mummy of two children . I have Zachary who is 16 and darcey who is 11 . My husband Simon is my registered assistant.
I live on the woodloes Warwick within walking distance of schools , shops , parks , nature walks which we use on a daily basis. My main passion is working with children and seeing them grow and learn new things every day. I always approach childcare of others children in a very similar way to how I care for my own. I offer a high quality home from home setting with lots of toys and activities to choose from . I'm very flexible with settling in sessions as we want parents and children to experience a happy transition.
We also have 2 family dogs called onzo and Barney they are a lhasaapso breed which are hypoallergenic dogs. They do have a crate in the living room so they can chill away from the children but we do encourage the children to look after and be kind to Onzo and Barney.
My Experience
When I left school I went to college to start my childcare and education training , during this training I went on placements around Warwick and leamington . I worked with all ages between 6 weeks and 12 yrs.
whilst on placements I got offered a job in the baby room in a nursery and they offered to put me through NVQ 's in childcare which I took this opportunity positively. Once I qualified as an NVQ 3 In childcare in yr 2000 I gained 3 years experience and realised I wanted to move on and up in the childcare environment .
I got a job as head of the baby room in a nusery and then got promoted junior deputy manager of the nursery.
My over all dream was to work abroad as a childrens rep and one day I was just browsing through nursery world when a advertisement caught my eye for children's rep for a company called mark warner , I decided to take the chance and try for the job and I got it as baby room manager in Greece two weeks later so all a bit of a rush but managed it and my manager at the time was very supportive . I did 3 seasons with mark warner then decided to get back to normal uk life so I returned .
I got a job in a nusery as deputy manager and loved the experience of running the nursery of 64 children and lots of staff when the manager was absent! I then fell pregnant with my first child and decided to have a few years off with him.
My Qualifications
As said earlier I'm NVQ 3 in childcare with lots of special needs training and experience.
I began the childminding course in January 2014 . I feel qualified already by the experience I have gained through work and being a mum of two .
We offer home cooked food for all children . I am able to take on shorter sessions for children who don't settle to well in different settings .
My Availability
We are open Monday to Friday 7. 30 am till 6 pm Monday to Friday . My price includes all healthy food and snacks.
I will be available to collect from woodloes school and saplings pre school.
I do offer 2 free settling in sessions of 2 hours free of charge more can be negotiated if child is not settling.

My little girl was 9 months old when she started at Stacey and Simons. The transition was fantastic and she quickly settled in. She loves her time here, playing and learning through all the activities that they lay on for the children. I can honestly say I feel so lucky to have found such a loving home where my daughter can feel comfortable, grow and learn. Highly recommended.
Overall
Stacey and Simon are brilliant with my little boy. Returning to work after having a year off was very daunting. We did try somewhere else and for a laid back little boy knew he wasn't happy there. Just after a couple of settling in sessions with Stacey and Simon I knew he was very happy and we had found the right place for him.
Their home is very welcoming and he has plenty to choose from when playing. He is always up to something fun and it's often me spoiling it by collecting him.
I'm happy knowing he gets the love and care he needs whilst he's there, mealtimes are excellent and the menu is varied, even if he's not keen for whatever reason they will try him on something else rather than leave him to go hungry.
Would highly recommend Stacey and Simon to anyone, very confident that every need my little boy has is met.

Overall
Stacey and Simon look after my little boy and they are brilliant. We tried two different places before I found Stacey as my little boy was really struggling to settle anywhere - he was constantly being sent home because he was crying so much. He settled straight away with Stacey and Simon and now I have to drag him away at the end of the day.
They are always up to lots of fun things but equally we know that he always gets support and a cuddle when he needs it.
I can really highly recommend Stacey and Simon. They are a lovely couple who have been really flexible and helpful with us and I completely trust them with my son and know that he is always having a great time!
