About Me
Hello, my name is Julie, I am a ofsted registered childminder. I live in Mapperley, I'm on the 25 and 45 bus route. I live with my husband. I work with an assistant,she is my daughter, we have been working together for over 5 years now.
I have 3 step sons, they have their own homes, I don't class them as my step children because they have all lived with me and their dad.
They have gave me 9 gorgeous grandchildren and I love spending time with them.
I am aiming to provide a warm and welcoming home based setting and I would like all children to feel valued, happy and safe in my home.
I Have completed my level 3 in child care, I have attended the beginning with babies course which I really enjoyed. I am always trying to develop myself further, so I am up to date.
I have lots of varied activities for the children to participte in, including messy play, baking, jigsaws, home corner, role play plus much more.
I am also close to the library, parks and shops. I also attend the local childminding groups.
I will be following the early years foundation stage framework (EYFS)
All of the family over the age of 16 have been DBS checked.
I have all the correct insurances, policies and procedures in place.
My Experience
I have lots of experience in babysitting for family and friends. I have a younger sister who I looked after and I then brought up my husbands children and my daughter.
I also look after my grandchildren on a weekly basis.
I have been minding for 10 years now and I love it. The job is so rewarding and I have been very lucky to have made close relationships with other childminders, which we work together on a daily basis.
My Qualifications
Paediatric first aid course.
Induction to setting up an home based childcare (CYPOP 5 )
NVQ level 3 in child care.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
Opening hours are Monday to Friday 7.30am - 5.30pm This can be changed to suit shift workers.
