A qualified teacher, providing private tutoring alongside various childcare needs; on a part-time, ad hoc evening babysitting, event childcare or holiday cover basis - please do get in touch and we can discuss your requirements.
I love being outdoors and enjoy walking and cycling. I keep fit by attending gym classes such as pilates and Zumba. I enjoy reading particularly crime thrillers and positive mind-set books. I enjoy travelling and visiting family and friends.
My Experience
A fully Qualified Teacher, with Safeguarding, SEN and First Aid Training.
DBS checked - Certificate can be shown upon request. I am also on the update service.
I have completed Level 3 SEN and ADHD Awareness.
Previously an Ofsted registered Nanny (and can do so again, at the cost of the employer, to allow parents to pay with childcare vouchers).
I have been working as a Nanny/Event Nanny/babysitter for over 15 years, through these roles have vast experience with new borns and multiple birth. I also have experience working with children with Autism and ADHD. For 8 years, I have provided tutoring services to children or various ages and ability.
Previous posts include EYFS, Year 5 and Year 6 teacher, Manager at Cotebrook Pre-School, Deputy manager of a private nursery.
NVQ Level 3 qualified in childcare and development and have also completed a childminding course.
Through event nannying, I have worked at weddings, hotels and conferences providing childcare and have cared for children from the age of 6 weeks to 14 years old. Any requirements can be discussed.
French language skills.

Rebecca kindly took care of our 14 month old on our wedding day/night allowing us to enjoy the occasion with peace of mind knowing he was in safe hands. She was punctual, professional, kind and polite and our son enjoyed her company despite the short time he had to get to know her. We would highly recommend Rebecca!!

Rebecca was just our perfect solution !
With a three month 9 & 12 year old it was always going to be a worry leaving them for the evening but Rebecca gave us the complete piece of mind we needed for a relaxing evening.
Communicated well turned up when promised with no pressure time to get back, The children thought she was marvellous asking the following morning when we would be going out again !

She had a very positive impact on my children encouraging them to participate in a range of activities.
