About Me
I am a secondary English teacher and my husband is a graphic designer. As our children are Irish-Mexican, they are being brought up (hopefully) as bilingual. My husband and I speak spanish to one another but use our mother tongues with the children.
My Requirements
We are looking for a reliable, flexible childminder (preferably qualified, with special needs experience as our son has Down's syndrome) for occasional days/evenings and very occasional overnights. We would like someone who has a natural affinity with very young children and who knows how to stimulate and challenge them with different activities! The ability/enthusiasm to use Makaton signing with our son would be an advantage. We also want someone who will respect the rules of the house and our behaviour expectations for the children.
