About Me
Hi there, my name is Kat. I am a 37 year old nanny housekeeper with a degree in childhood studies and over 15 years of childcare and nanny/housekeeper experience.
I have a positive and hard working attitude and always ensure the children I care for are happy, safe and loved. I am very kind and patient and work hard to build children's self esteem and confidence giving them choices (within reason) in how we plan our days. My activities are often very child led and based around the individual needs and interests of each child.
I have also cooked meals for families, look after pets, done dog walking, run errands and collect shopping for families and would be happy to do this.
I am more than happy to provide references at interview stage.

My Experience
I have been nannying for the past 13 years.
A few positions I have done have been as a nanny/housekeeper. This often involved cleaning and cooking for the family during school time and nannying after the children get home from school.
I love my job and I have built up good bonds with the children and their families. I love seeing them achieve and develop it is very rewarding.
I am currently a foster carer for 3 children as well as being a mum to a beautiful little girl so am very experienced with children from all backgrounds in my profession as well as at home.
Prior to this I worked as a youth worker at a charity called Challengers with young people with additional needs and disabilities. I found this very rewarding.
I have also worked as a level three key worker in a nursery setting with children aged 0-5 for three years.My role included looking after the children, encouraging child lead learning (e.g. learning through their own interests and play) and meeting their individual needs. I was also a key worker and did planning and organised stimulating activities for the children. I have a good knowledge of the early years foundation stage guidance.

10 GCSE'S A*-C

I have 1 day available between 9am and 6pm on Wednesday or Thursday.

Kat is a natural with children, my eldest always asks when we can go out again so that Kat can come over to be with him. Really appreciate having someone reliable who we can trust.

Kat provided babysitting services for us when work commitments meant we needed to work some evenings. It was the first time we had used a babysitter since our daughter was born, so we were a bit nervous. However, we needn’t have worried as Kat was professional, friendly and very reliable. We would definitely recommend her as a babysitter and would certainly use her services again.

Meeting Katrina was a Godsend! She was lovely with my two girls and so patient. When I had an emergency appointment, she showed up ahead of time and I had such a piece of mind when I left. She definitely has a passion for children, is easygoing and professional,I would highly recommend her x

Kat has been wonderful with our boys!
She is the first person who was not family that we left them with but she instantly made us feel so confident that they would be happy and secure!
My bossy toddler absolutely loves her and quickly learnt that she is not a push over!
It was easy to tell from the relationship they quickly built that he had lots of fun being with Kat!
Kat is flexible but professional and completely trustworthy to look after your precious little one!
We are gutted she won’t be around anymore (as change in jobs mean we can share childcare) but will definitely be asking for her if needed in the future!

Kat has babysat for us several times and is always warm and friendly. The kids (aged 5 and 8) both really enjoy it when Kat looks after them. She came and collected them from the Marriott hotel for us during our wedding reception and took them home and put them to bed so is happy to go above and beyond. Highly recommend :)
