Amazing second home & extended family!

I have had the privilege of entrusting my son and daughter to Cherished Childminding for the past 5 years, and I can confidently say that it has been a wonderful experience. Cherished, whom we consider part of our extended family, has created a warm and nurturing environment that has truly become a second home for my children.

One of the standout qualities of Cherished (aside from the amazing food – so I’m told every day by my children!) is their ability to create a simulating and educational setting. My children have learned so much over the years they have attended, which has set them up ready to start school with ease.

Cherished is committed to open communication, with regular updates via the daily diary, newsletters, pictures sent throughout the day, or a good chat at the door upon collection! Safety is a top priority for Cherished, who maintain high standards of hygiene and safety, which leaves us feeling confident the children are being well cared for.

What truly sets Cherished apart is their genuine warmth, love and affection for all the children, treated as if they were their own. They have created a close-knit community where my children have developed beautiful friendships and life long memories. I wholeheartedly recommend this childminder to any parent seeking a truly wonderful and trustworthy childcare provider.

Fantastic care and learning environment

We are so happy with the team at Cherished and the care they have provided for both of our girls. The approach is kind with lots of learning and play, helping the children develop their physical skills, mental skills and social. They’ve also helped me as a mum figure out lots of parenting stuff that can be so confusing at times.
Our girls love the team and feel safe which is so reassuring as a mum. Both of my two will be at school soon and I know that they have had the best start possible by being at Cherished.

Fantastic service

Cherished Childminding Services is such great childcare services. It’s such great extension to that homely feeling for my kids. Nanny Pat and team are fantastic with the kids and really know them personally. Communication is great and regular via phone, diary, Whatsapp and verbally at pick up and drop off. They’re so understanding and supportive of working parents’ needs. The setting is clean, safe and welcoming for the children. My children have made friends they talk about all the time and are happy. They’re very diverse and culturally aware and adaptive to cultural needs. Also, they provide excellent programs and healthy eating for children. I have seen great progress with my children’s learning, my older one who’s starting reception in September knows his alphabet, colors, numbers and how to spell his name. Festive seasons are the best, children get presents and have parties and they absolutely love it. I am really happy with the services and grateful for all that Nanny Pat and team do for our children.

Highly Recommend!

Cherishe Childminder has been a wonderful, positive place for our kids, and we can't thank them enough for everything they do for them. The staff is fantastic and welcoming; You can tell that they truly care about all the children in their care. The environment is very clean and safe. They also encourage healthy eating and feed the children nutritious and healthy foods. Their programs are fantastic; our kids learn so much and seem to have a lot of fun. The communication is excellent and transparent about everything. They communicate with us verbally, by text message and through a diary. I highly recommend their service to everyone, especially the mothers who are always so worried about their little ones. Thank you for all you do for our kids.

Excellent

Nanny Pat and her team welcomed our son with open arms and made him feel welcomed. I remember he didn’t want to leave on his settling in day which was just 3hrs. Our son’s social interaction went from 1-10 within a short period of time. He was slightly behind in a few things when he started but I can say he’s now caught up with his peers and even surpassed them in some instances. Nanny Pat, Pop, aunty Vicky and aunty Jayne are the best in what they do. They also offer an early start and late finish as we usually need to leave home early and sometime return late. Our son is going to the big school in September but we can proudly say Nanny Pat and her team has provided him with the foundation and skills he needs to transition into the big school.

Great home away from home

This review is long overdue but my little one was looked after by Cherished for the last 2.5 years. The team at Cherished cares about the kids they take care of and helps them learn and develop. I had a stressful second pregnancy with unpredictable hospital appointments and nanny Pat was so supportive and flexible with Oscar's care. They are like an extended family to me, as my little one talks about nanny and pop, and aunties Jayne and Vicky. I am super grateful the team at Cherished was able to take care of Oscar.

Home from home for my little one

My son has been looked after by nanny pat and team for 2.5 years now and they really are home from home.
He used to be quite shy and reserved, but since attending cherished, he has really come out of his shell.
He is off to school in September and is so ready for it thanks to all the hard work nanny pat and co have put in - confident with writing his name, his numbers, alphabet etc.
We are given daily updates on what they have been up to via their diary, and photos are sent through regularly via WhatsApp showing us how much fun they are having.
I love that they are diverse and inclusive, learning about holidays such as Chinese new year, Diwali and Christmas.
Meals are provided which is great as some settings require you to provide own lunches etc. They are of great variety and include at least one hot meal a day.
Although my son will be heading off to big school in September, my daughter will be attending Cherished childcare when I return to work from maternity leave as we have been so pleased with the care they have provided thus far 😊

Highly Reccommend!

I am very grateful for everything Nanny Pat and her family do for my daughter. My daughter has attended Cherished Childminder Services for nearly a year, and she absolutely loves it. My daughter was very shy and quiet before attending now she is so clever and confident in everything she does. The team have given my daughter such a great start in life the routine they have got her into is brilliant for not only them but me as well.
I couldn’t thank the team more for everything they do and provide. The environment is perfect if your looking for something homely, family orientated setting, they have everything and have transformed their own house into such a great place for the children. The garden area is full of toys for all ages of young children.

Best out there in my opinion!

My son is 3 and a half and has been cared for by Nanny Pat and the team since he was 9 months old as I work full time. The facilities are great, it’s clean, the kids are fed well, have lots of fun and are also provide early years education. They communicate through a diary as well as verbal updates. They also mark special occasions (recently had a coronation party), and will put on special visits for them such as having animals visit. Some of the children even went sledding in the snow when it was winter. My son knows his colours, numbers and entire alphabet already, he is learning to write his name, and he’s still got over a year before he starts reception! When he goes to school he’ll be going in the holidays and before and after school hopefully, as they are like a second family to him now. He comes out every day saying he loves it there, and he has made lots of friends in the other children too. I can’t recommend the setting highly enough!
