We have 2 daughters, aged 4.5 years and 18 months, who have been with Pat, Victoria and Jayne, three times a week since October 2014.
With our eldest daughter starting school, and an imminent return to work, we needed a solution that would suit us all for day care for the baby, school drop off and collections and after school care, so we decided a child minder was our best bet. After visiting quite a few, we decided that Pat and the girls were the best fit for our family.
We have been really happy with the way the girls have settled in round there. Our youngest daughter is always full of smiles, we've never had tears at drop off time, and our older daughters asks everyday if she is going round to Pats house!
We are very comfortable leaving out daughters in their care, knowing that they are well looked after, cared for, enjoying themselves and happy! It gives us great peace of mind to know that when we are at work, they are in the care of Pat. Jayne and Victoria. Our little one is learning so much all the time and the girls regularly bake, paint and make things to bring home for us.

Both of my children, aged three and four are looked after by the great people at cherished child minding - Pat, Vicky, Jayne and sometimes Pops , since September 2014 and the both enjoy, my son talks non stop about them all at the good times they have. They staff have support both my children in their learning and development even when they have needed a little extra help and support. There have plenty of activities for the children to do. They come home with pictures of their work.
I also feel like if i had any problems all i would need to do is say then it could be worked out.
My little boy who is three and is very shy and they have supported and help him gain his confidence and helped him learn his numbers and and writing his name and with his potty training.
My four year is in school and goes in the morning and sometimes after school and holidays and she enjoys it to. I have told many people how lucky we have been to find such great people to care for our little people.

Both of my boys, aged 4 and 22 months have been looked after by Pat, her daughter Vicky and more recently Jayne, since September and I have to say that I was particularly apprehensive about using a child-minder as previously my children had always attended a private nursery setting, however with my eldest having started school, nursery was no longer a viable option. I have to say, having looked around at various different child-minders I believe I have made the right decision with selecting Cherished Child-minding. Initially Cherished Child-minding was formed of Pat and another lady called Alison, and I loved the fact that it seemed more of a crèche than just someone else's home, there are plenty of activities for the children to do, there are different corners and activities correlating to the EYFS learning (similar to in a nursery), each day has a different menu which incorporates healthy eating and includes each food group and everything appears to be well structured. When viewing different child-minders I also loved the fact that there were both Pat and Alison there and so there were more eyes watching and playing with the children. Unfortunately Alison left before the boys actually commenced, however they have both settled in really well and it's clear to see that there is a great team on board. Any teething issue has been addressed and resolved satisfactorily. The boys often come home with artwork and crafts that they have made that day. Pat often tries to incorporate themes into their daily activity which is great as this provides them with variety and a good learning experience. Both of the boys are always very happy when I leave them in the mornings and actually the problem is generally around leaving at the end of the day, youngest Son is always keen to stay or at least assert his independence about what he would like to do! :-) however once back in the car, my eldest regales me with stories of what they have got up to that day which is lovely to hear. So far, so good!

I found out about pat and her team through a mutual friend . Alice was an unexpected delight however with an 8 year gap between her and her sister I was even more cautious about sending her to a childminder (my eldest was always with her nan).
My initial impression of pats home was wow everything a child needs to play and learn.
Alice has learnt a lot from pat Victoria and Jayne she sings songs,counts, all the great things you look forward to your 2 year old to say,they even managed to potty train her in less then 6 hours.
Alice is a different child since going to cherish childminders and I couldn't be happier she bakes she has trips out even likes to help with housework now!
I would highly recommend cherish childminding to anyone they offer anything and everything a nursery could but with even more attention to detail and each child specific needs and requirements.

I found information on Cherishe on this page. My son visited Pat and Alison a few times before he started regular attendance, and I saw right away that he really like it in there. I was afraid of the first days, this is my first and only child, he has always been with us,his parents ... My son received a great greeting, and I received support and understanding from the beginning! I see different activities every day, which are focused on children development, children have clear,simple rules and their individual needs are met. I see that my child is happy there-a very important factor for us. And I think, I trusted the right people in the care of my child!
Also, all documents relating to qualifications, Firs Aid, courses, are available at any time.
I highly recommend this place, I just could not find better!
