Looking for school holiday work as I am now in Uni full time. I have a 9 year old and a 1 year old (the 1 year old can attend nursery).
10 p/h, Newham School holiday dates available.

I am a passionate and qualified childcare professional. I have been working with children for 10 years. Most of my work has been with under 1's (which is were I love to be). I qualified as a Nursery Nurse with a Level 3 in 2009, I also had my son in 2009. To be able to work alongside my son, whilst also doing something I loved, I went into private daycare working with children between 3 months and 18 months. I was in Private daycare for 6 years and have worked with all ages under 5. I ended my last role in private daycare as a deputy manager whilst also sitting a BSc in Child and Adolescent Psychology, in which I received a First with Honours in Aug 2015.

There were 2 main reasons why I left private day care, firstly the hours, really didn't work well with my son, he was in school and after school clubs, for 10 hours a day and then was with a P/T Nanny for 3 hours a day. By this stage my son was 6 and this was a pivotal time in school for him.

In order to work with hours that benefited him, I started work in a special school working with autistic children. Whilst doing this I truly missed working with babies.

I am looking for a Nanny role, that will allow me to do what I love, whilst also caring for my son. My time is flexible especially in the evening.
Ideally I am looking for a family who live in or close too E15 2, who can leave for work after 8:30 and will allow me to pick my son up from school and keep him with me, whilst caring for their baby.

I do understand that some families may be wary, but I am willing for them to meet him after our initial meeting and before appointment. He has grown up with me working with babies and is used to being around them, when he reached pre-school he would often come into the baby room in the afternoon to play with them and would often come into nursery for the day when school was out to play with younger children.

I am looking for work from August 2016 and I will charge £10 p/h.

A few personal attributes that I feel matter:

I can cook from fresh, and will always cook a weaning baby a fresh meal rather then a jar.

I can clean the children's spaces, such as bedrooms, playrooms and laundry.

I believe in socailising children of all ages, so will attend baby and toddler groups, sensory session and messy play session in the local area.

I also don't believe these have to be done in a different settings, working in nurseries and in a special school has given lots of creative ideas that are easy to clean :).

I also believe in talking to babies from the moment they are born and getting out as much as possible, so I can guarantee a lot of walks with lots of words :)

I am also very organised..

I am happy to discuss possibilities; I understand that we may not be the most convenient for your family, but I can promise you that I am very passionate about the development and education of children especially of children under 5, to ensure they have the best start in life.

Also if you need OFSTED registered, it would be better to discuss now, so we can start the process.
