About Me
Hi my name is Celina and I am an Ofstead registered childminder and a member of childcare On my last inspection (in 2019) I received a grade 'good'. I live in Bennetts End, Hemel Hempstead. My 29 year old daughter stil lives at home. We also have a dog who is a labrador cross collie called Oskar and he is 12 years old. The children in my care have a large range of activities that they can do including; arts and crafts, messy play, puzzles, etc etc. we have a garden that we use any time of the day . We go to to the loca park/picnics, visits to local toddlers group and the library. The children also help to grow some vegetables in our garden. If needed I can provide home cooked meals . I am originally from Portugal, and can teach kids Portuguese if a parent so wishes.

I have been a childminder for the past 27 years, and have looked after children of many different age over the years
My Qualifications
I do not have an NVQ qualification in childcare, but I have a lot of experience. My first aid certificate is up to date and child protection is also up to date.

Celina gave me the confidence to return to work after having my first child. Even seven years after we started with Celina she still has my children. Very supportive in child development with a wide range of activities for the children.

I needed a childcare for a short period of time for my 2 year old daughter.
Celina is brilliant with children and incredibly understanding for working mums.
She made me feel so much relaxed knowing my daughter is there with her.
Also very accommodating with child care hours with 24 hours notices, which is a huge relief for working mums. She is the first person to call if I need a help.

Celine start looking after my son since he was Two, she is fantastic , he enjoys going to her, playing with other kids and With variety of toys. She is very reliable and I very much recommend to contact her.

Celina is a fantastic childminder! She started looking after my son when he was 1 year old. He loved spending time there and she was like a second mother to him. He's now 6 years old and still loves going to Celina and playing with a huge variety of toys. Apparently Celina's trampoline is much more fun than ours (exactly the same) at home! Celina is also looking after my other son who is 4 years old and has special needs. She is brilliant with him and he loves giving her lots of kisses and cuddles. I trust Celina completely and I know that my children are safe, happy and really well looked after. I have known Celina now for over 5 years and not only she's the best childminder I could have wished for, we have also become good friends.
