My Experience
I have level 3 qualifications in childcare, I am a driver and have completed lots of relevant training for working with children. I completed a course at Northampton university which was about supporting children with complex additional needs, I have completed autism training, epilepsy, first aid.
I am also a trained children’s mental health lead.
I started working with children as a teaching assistant in a special needs school 12 years ago so I am used to managing challenging behaviour, medical needs and de-escalating situations.
I then gained lots of different but vital experience working as a nanny with children of different ages and abilities before returning to working in a school setting.

My Availability
I am currently working as the Inclusion Officer and Deputy Safeguarding Lead at a local primary school. I have worked with children for the past 13 years as a nanny and working in schools. I have experience working with newborns to teenagers and also children with a variety of additional needs.
I am looking for an after school nanny job for 2 evenings per week although I would not be able to start until 4.30 due to my full time role commitments. I am also available some weekends/school holidays. Weekends I am only available alternate weekends.
