About Me
I currently offer a SCHOOL PICK-UP service.
Additionally, I can arrange to bring your child to your home at a time that suits your convenience. If needed, I am also available to provide childcare AT YOUR HOME for a few hours.
I am an OFSTED REGISTERED childminder with more than 10 years experiences, excellent references and with high level of maturity, professionalism and integrity.
DBS checked and I have a current Paediatric First Aid certificate as well as Safeguarding children training.
Extensive experiences and familiar with all stages of their developments, estabilish routine, food preparation, potty training, weaning, teething, speech development and always respect your wishes.
I am holding a child minding certificate (CACHE Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home Base Chidcare) as well as an IT diploma and GCSE English and Maths A-level.
Experienced in teaching as I use to be a Maths teacher in a after school private tuition.
Helping with homework can be arranged, if needed.
Driving my own car, which is insured for business use.
I am warm, outgoing, punctual, happy, well organized, reliable; I love to be around children and I am a mum of two older boys.
My priority is to introducing your child to new experiences and encouraging his/her development with age-appropriate games.
I will give lots of stimulation and individual attention to your child.
I bring the children in my care to visit many places in order to make sure that your child is learning and developing and make sure your child reaches her or his full potential.
Visit: drop-ins, stay and plays, farm, libraries, parks etc.
Creative activities
Above all, I studied many years to be well educated, as effective learning and development for young children requires high-quality care and education.
We have 2 cats.

I started a full time course with long hours and as a single parent I need a childminder that could collect my child from nursery and bring her home and look after her for just a few hours. I was lucky enough to find Helga who is a qualified childminder offering after school hours care!
My daughter has been looked after by Helga now for 7 months and is very happy. Helga is very professional and punctual so I never have to worry about nursery pick ups. Helga is also incredibly accommodating when I might need to change a day, with enough notice. Would highly recommend!

Helga has looked after my daughter from 2019-2022 while I studied university. My daughter has thrived while being in her care, her speech, mobility and potty training had dramatically exceeded beyond expectations.
Helga has managed to facilitate unusual hours due to university timetables and has made last minute compromises to ensure I got to meet exams and deadlines smoothly. I have nothing but absolute gratitude towards Helga’s professionalism and commitment to ensure my daughter’s needs are met. Helga updated me on every milestone in each session, as a first time mum, this was very reassuring and comforting. It was an absolute pleasure to have such an amazing childminder. I am certain my daughter has been positively influenced by her and I hope she keeps that for the rest of her life. If I choose to have more children in the future, Helga will always be the first choice.

Helga looked after my 1 year old son when I needed last minute care. She has a very warm, happy personality and my son felt comfortable with her immediately. She has lots of experience and many excellent references.
She is very friendly and communication was easy.
The space in her flat has a variety of toys, and a desk space for craft activities.
I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a childminder or babysitter.

We were visiting London from the US and needed a sitter for a couple of nights. I went with someone whose documents had been verified by the site as we didn't have much time to get to know someone new.
Helga was easy to plan with and very punctual! My son was acting up a bit because of being over tired from jetlag, but Helga handled it just fine. My son had fun with her the first time so we asked her back a second time.

Helga is a friendly and very experienced babysitter who accommodated us at the last minute by looking after our four-moth old baby overnight in London. Her fees are reasonable and she has a very large selection of toys, books, and baby equipment in her apartment.

Helga looked after our 14-month old son for a couple of days at short notice. So we don't feel we know her well, but she was warm and engaging and James had a happy stimulating time with her.

I was looking for a registered childminder who can take care of my sons one is 3 one is 5 yrs old for a while before I found Helga, after at least I viewed about 10 profiles,Helga's profile took my attention, she is very experienced in regard to babysitter, childcare and she got all the documents in hand, which is very professional. She is also very flexible, my kids settled with her on the first day we met. All of my boys, really well behaved with her, and she took them to the local library, park and farm, which is my boys' favorite places.
I am very happy with her service,and definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for high quality childcare service.

I'm a mum of two boys aged 5 and 4 years old and needed a childminder for after school pick up and to be looked after until 7 pm. I searched and searched but with no luck. Despite the short notice once i visited with Helga and once all the necessary paperwork was completed, she took on the job and has been looking after my boys for the past 2 months. My overall experience with Helga has been excellent and i'm a very happy mum! She is very welcoming, warm & a happy childminder and is easily adaptable to any requests or changes you may have. Her bonus feature she has, is that she drives and is always taking my boys to various different parks after school. They are very happy with her and so am I!
