About Me
The most important thing for me, is that the children in my care are safe and happy. When they are safe and happy they can explore, experience, learn, develop and create. I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since 2008. I live with my husband and two children in Barming. I have a range of toys and games for children of all ages and interests. I enjoy doing activities such as arts, crafts, cooking and messy play, with the children. I have a large garden with lots of toys and like to take the children out to local play areas, exploring in the woods, parks, library and other places of interest. I work with parents to provide the best care I can and try to provide a wide range of activities and experiences in a relaxed and caring atmosphere.
My Experience
I have cared for many children over the years I have been childminding. Some have started as babies and stayed with me during their primary school years (and beyond occasionally). All children are different and I do my best to meet the needs of each of them. I have cared for children with dual language and from various cultural backgrounds. I have worked as a volunteer at a nursery for children with special needs.
My Qualifications
Paediatric First Aid
Level 3 NVQ in Children's Care, Learning and Development
Children's safeguarding training
Along with other training on Child Development and play, as well as food safety, etc.
As an accredited childminder I am able to provide 15 hours a week government funded childcare for 3-4 year olds and childcare under the free for two scheme.
I am a member of PACEY (Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years) and keep up to date with best practice in childcare through trade journals and online resources. I also develop my skills and knowledge with regular training and workshops.
My Availability
My normal hours of work are 8.00am to 6.00pm, although I can be flexible and have a few parents who work shifts. I will have availability from September when some children will leave to go to school.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
£6 per hour during normal working hours. I am happy to discuss fees in more detail with parents and carers. I can offer Free Early Educator spaces - funded places for 2-4 year olds. Please ask for more details.

Sally has been looking after my son since starting school in year R, he is now in Year 3.
She was recommended to me by several Mum's at the local school he attends and is very well known in the area for her kind and caring nature with the children.
My son is very happy and plays well with the other children she cares for who vary in age. There is always an abundance of toys and arts and crafts and Sally really enjoys getting down on the floor and playing with the children.
Generally she has my son after school but can also help out before school and in the school holidays if I need it.
Cannot recommend enough.
