I am a caring proud mother of my two girls who are now 30&27
I have been childminding 30years and my husband is also a childminder of 25 years
My daughter works as my assistant and has been for 6 years
We have two Maltese dogs which absolutely adore the children
We live in a large house in furzton by the lake and offer and home from home setting which is a fun and nurturing environment, we have 2 rooms dedicated to the children and a large enclosed outdoor area!
We mostly go by learning approach of “in the moment planning” which means we can set out our activity table, but they are free to play and submerge in and learn how they would like to
Which means we can observe and watch them grow and learn in a way they find fun!
We have a wide range of toys and resources such as water toys, sand tray, trains, paw patrol, counting games, fine motor skills, arts and crafts, colouring, messy play and so much more
We love our nature and being outside, my husband has a allotment next to our house where every year, the children plant the seeds in the green house and watch them grow and then take a trip down the allotment to water them and have a chance to try their own vegetables they have grown
All we ask you to supply is Lunch, change of clothes and their nappies and wipes and their formula milk if needed
My Experience
I have been a registered childminder for 30 years, my husband for 25years, we are graded Good. My daughter is also working with me as an assistant and she has a 6 year old boy. we thoroughly enjoy looking after children of all ages and most of our minded children have been on a long term basis so it has been a pleasure to see them all grow up.
My Qualifications
My husband, Daughter and I are qualified in First Aid, hold Food Hygiene certificates
