About Me
Hello my name is Annmarie Parfitt, i live in Torquay with my husband and two children. We have a three bedroom house and a separate dining/playroom. I have lived in Torquay all my life and come from a family of childminders. My mum was a childminder as i was growing up so have always been around minded children.
I have a large range of resources which your child can play freely with and have activities and outings planned each day for your child to enjoy, such as visits to playgroups, the zoo, parks etc all which are included in the childminding fee.
I am currently doing my garden which when finished will be a lovely large, safe playing area.
We have two small miniature Dachshunds who love all the children.

My Experience
I have been childminding for thirteen years. On my last ousted inspection i received a Good grading overall, and Outstanding in Safeguarding (March 2020) I am a Gold member.
I have minded children from 12 weeks to 12 years all of which are still minded by me after ten years.(except as and when minding)
I have experience looking after a child with profound special needs and PEG feeding and also a little experience of the autistic spectrum and ADHD.
I understand that all children are unique and am willing to take further training if the need arises to be able to care for other children.
Children have fun in a warm homely enviroment. We do lots of playing (well all play) and go out on lots of trips and outings.
I am very easy going and flexible to your needs.

Diploma in home based childcare, grade A (level 3)
Supporting children with SEN
Autistic transition training
Basic portage worker course
Understanding and valuing diversity
Basic child protection
Early years first aid
Food hygiene
EYFS in practice
Makaton- foundation course module 1,2,3,4
Language development level 1
Bristol standards year 1 and 2
Accredited to take 2yr and 3-4yr old funding
My Availability
I HAVE ONE PLACE FOR 2YR OLD FUNDING (15 HRS)
DAYS AVAILABLE ARE MONDAY, TUESDAY OR WEDNESDAY.
I have a place after school for Early years child
I work term time only
I can take all funding
