My Summary
About Me
I'm not currently looking for a new family as I'm happily fully employed with a lively family.
Previous to this, the family I was with had a change in circumstances & no longer required a nanny. I was sad to leave as they are all so lovely, but luckily they lived very near me, so I was still be able to see them. Sadly they have now moved overseas. I have a written reference & I'm sure J would be happy to speak to anyone & give a verbal reference.
Now for the awkward part... a bit about me - I'm friendly, loving & caring - but firm as well as reliable, flexible, tidy & organised.
I like to do all the usual things with children - baking, art & craft, 'exploring' in the woods, teddy bears picnics etc. I have had quite an education in Thomas the Tank Engine, Dora, Blue,, power rangers, hut building, dinosaurs & sharks and am happy to get involved with more current trends!!
I like to help little ones learn through play - colours, numbers, counting etc
I am very much a 'Mum at home' type nanny, rather than a '60 ways to make cupcakes - oops forgot to feed you, change you, empty the dishwasher!' type nanny. I believe it's good for children to learn to play by themselves and with other children.
I am happy to do all 'nursery' duties as well as light household bits and pieces (empty the dishwasher, walk the dog, pick up dry-cleaning, pop to the supermarket etc).
I look after children as I would my own (if I had any!) - lots of love, cuddles and firm boundaries.

My Experience
I have been looking after children since I was very young. I've looked after all ages from newborn babies to teenagers, from one baby on their own, to 50 children on a campsite, multiples and children/teenagers with special needs.
I have lived-out, lived-in & had children living with me. I have looked after babies/children while their parents have been overseas or ill in hospital from a weekend to six months.

I had to leave my newborn (2 months old) with somebody I could rely on when I was at work.I came across Nat,requested her to help us for 3 days when I was not around for 8 hours.I was quite worried on day 1 and called Nat twice to find out how my baby was. When I reached home in the evening ,to my surprise ,he was giggling with the new lady (Nat) with him.We continued with Nat for next 4 months as I always found a happy baby when I was back from work.
Also,my baby had some neck movement problem and needed physiotherapy thrice a day.Nat made sure that he had his exercises everyday and with her support my son (17 months old now) is just like a normal boy with full neck movement.
We are really very grateful to her for her help and support.Would recommend her to anybody who needs a reliable nanny.
Natalie looked after my 7 month old daughter, Lyra, for a month when I first went back to work. I was deeply worried about going back to work, especially given that I had to be away from home for several nights in my second week back. Natalie bonded with Lyra immediately and was so competent and caring with her that going back was not nearly as traumatic as I had envisioned. In fact, I am not sure that Lyra even noticed that I was gone! The relationship she built with Lyra, as well as with my husband and I, was a key factor in helping me feel relaxed and confident about going back to work.
Natalie researched local activities that were age suitable for Lyra and ensured that they had a busy and varied week. She also cooked some amazing meals, the freezer was always fully stocked with pots of home made baby food, all of which Lyra loved. She also took time to help Lyra eat finger foods and made sure there was a variety of different tastes and textues for her to explore. Lastly, she was incredibly supportive and flexible when we needed late nights or (very) early starts and just made our life so much easier.
We are really going to miss her and would not hesitate to recommend Natalie as a nanny for any child. We have already signed a contract with a permanent nanny and so sadly cannot extend Natalie's contract but we will all miss her deeply.
Nat has been extremely helpful and patient with my need for an occasional babysitter, often at short notice and for vaguely specified amounts of time (perils of shift work in health care!) and always manages to be cheerful even when the baby isn't!
