About Me
My name is Danielle Renshaw I am 26 years old and live in Whelley, Wigan with my two children, Oliver age 5 and Jake age 3. I have recently started working along side my friend Kristy, at the moment Kristy is working as my assistant but is in the process of registering as a childminder. I am an OFSTED registered childminder who provides flexible childcare for children of all ages. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
My eldest child attends the gates in westhoughton so this is the school I collect from.
My Experience
After I left school I studied health and social care at college and worked in a nursery for a while. I then went down a different route before having my first child. When Oliver was 9 months and I was returning to work I decided I wanted to be a stay at Home mum who earned a living so decided to follow the path I had first taken by working with children, I trained at my local college to become a childminder. I now have the best of both worlds bringing my own children up and caring for other peoples children in the same way I care for my own.
Kristy has worked with children for the last 7 years, she is a qualified teaching assistant so therefore has worked in schools, a nursery and most recently worked as a nanny.
We are both paediatric first aid trained, have up to date DBS checks, safeguarding, communication and language training and food hygiene.
We also complete CPD training regularly.

Danielle Kirsty and Courtney take care of my son since 2 months. I can't express how happy I am I have chosen them! I see how much he changed since he started. Every single day they organise different activities for kids. It's nothing like comparing with my previous childminder. They even took Oliver to zoo and soft play. He is never bored and he loves to go there:) thank you ladies xxxx

My daughter has been staying with Danielle and Kristy for a couple of months now and as this was the first time i had used a childminder I was really nervous. Danielle and Kristy are very easy to talk to and friendly. They instantly made me and my daughter comfortable and Lily absolutely loves going to theirs. They are very flexible with my hours as I work shifts and have very good rates.

Jake, my 7 month old son, has been going to Danielle's since November. As a first time mum that suffered from postnatal anxiety, which meant I panicked at the idea of leaving my son with anyone even for ten minutes, I never thought I would feel as reassured going back to work as I do now. Danielle and her assistant anxiboutre amazing carers who really treat Jake like one of their own. They are helpful beyond the requirements of a childminder and I count myself lucky to have found them. I hope they are in Jakes life for a long time to come.
