About Me
I am a primary school teacher in redbridge. I love working with children and always have high expectations of them. My lessons are aimed at building confidence in children's' learning so that they can be independent learners. So far most of my tutees have come through recommendation. I am patient and motivate the children through exciting lessons. I teach both one to one and small groups.
My Experience
I am currently teaching at a redbridge primary school. I have been tutoring for 8 years. I have taught literacy, numeracy, phonics and preparation for sats. I am very familiar with foundation stage as I have have been a reception class teacher.
I teach creative writing and quick mental maths strategies needed for 7 plus training

1999- BA (Hons) history and women studies
2008- PGCE - primary teaching with QTS

I am available after 5pm week days and weekends during the day.

I started both my children with R when they was 2 years old! This has helped get my children ahead and really prepare them for school. R is very enthusiastic and passionate about teaching and tailors the lessons to what is needed. She also provides excellent advice to help with whatever education direction you are going in, i.e Grammar schools/Independent Schooling. Having successfully been a teacher and got her own children through all the grammar school exams, she definitely knows her stuff. My children have always enjoyed coming to her, and she can deal with children of all ages. She teaches children strategies which help their studies. I would highly recommend her! Many thanks for all your support.
