My Summary
About Me
I am a young, enthusiastic and bubbly person, I have a great love for children and helping there development grow. I have good knowledge with the EYFS as I have worked with children aged between 3 months - 4 years. I have grown up with young children around me and I guess I just love watching the difference they can make. I love cooking, having children has really made me think about different recipes. I am very easy going and enjoy meeting new people and trying new things. I like to be creative so getting messy doing arts and crafts is one of my favourites. I have always been a sporty person, I used to play every sport at school and I still love to play sports with all my family. I'm happy to be with pets. I love to do fun raising events and raising money for people in need or charity's! I am learning how to drive and a non smoker. I have a little boy aged 6 who is currently in school and a little girl who is 2 who goes to nursery. Ideally I would like to find some work between the school/nursery hours I have but can change slightly if needed
My Experience
I did my Level 2 whilst I was in school so I did work placement in a preschool/ after school club for a week. After I left school I done an appreticeship to do my Level 3 (started: 13th march 2012). They then employed me to work there full time. I have worked in all three rooms, baby room (3 months - 18 months), toddler room (18 months - 2.5 years) and preschool room (2.5 years - 4 years). I have worked up to be third in charge in a nursery setting before but before I left to go on to maternity leave I was a senior leader in the baby room of my nursery setting. I do ad-hoc babysitting and have done for over 10 years now. The children's ages range between 5 months - 11 years). References are available on request.
