Working for a family in West Lothian I was responsible for all aspects of the children’s daily routine Monday to Thursday. The children are ages 10months, two, and four years. I organise and plan daily classes to attend, and activities to hold. Ensuring housekeeping, meal prep and general house care is kept too. I ensure children are well presented and punctual. The standard of care here is very high.

With the team of childcare staff i led them with strong communication skills, motivation and organisation. With use of high parental contact I was able to gain feedback to ensure the running of the department was organised yet motivational.

I ran the childcare department, ensuring staff training was up to date, daily responsibilities included parent contacthe, risk assessments, money management, overseeing of daily activities, any first aid. I deliver high motivation and keep a high standard at all times.

As head of the childcare department, I worked in the French Alps in a ski resort where every week different families would holiday. It was my role to ensure myself and my team were confident with the weeks plan and had age appropriate activities ready. This role was sometimes challenging with fantastic experiences. Within my role I ensured all children in my care were looked after to high standards. Ensuring health and safety was met at all times which was extremely important in the mountains.
