My Experience

During my thirteen years as a teacher and school leader, I have gained experience of teaching the whole Primary age range; Nursery, Year 1,2,3,4,5, and 6.

I have experience of managing a Primary school, leading the learning for the whole school. In addition, I have held a number of Senior Leader roles, in state and private schools. This has given me an in-depth knowledge of how children progress throughout their school life and a strong understanding of the whole learning process.

I have been the whole school Leader of Reading & Writing at two separate schools. This responsibility involves planning, implementing and monitoring reading, writing, spelling and handwriting strategies for all children at the school. I have also held the same position for Maths at two different schools.

I began my career teaching Year 1 at a school in South London. I next taught internationally at Harrow International School in Bangkok. Returning to London, I taught for three years at Fox Primary school, recently rated as 'England's Top Primary School' - I also held the responsibility for English and then Maths whilst there.

Moving out of London, I taught at a in West sussex, holding a variety of responsibilities including senior leader, leader of Maths and Literacy. I currently teach at a school in Stoke.
