Welcome to Chloe's Childminding !


Hello my name is Chloe and I am an ofsted registered childminder in Newbury Berkshire.
I have been offering my services in childcare for the last 9 years and I have never looked back!

I am married and have two sons and one daughter.

My eldest son Freddie Currently attends st.nicolas school.
My Son Noah currently attends the St.johns school.

My daughter is Esme will turn One in December.


In the daytime..

I am a regular at several baby and toddler groups and when we are not getting messy doing arts and crafts , trips to the local library and playing at local playgrounds and parks you will often find us on a bear hunt in the woods !

If there are any groups you would like your child to attend for an example dance , swimming or music I will try my best to accommodate.

I am well equipped with a pushchair and buggy board for those tired legs but my aim is get children exploring the outdoors what ever the weather ! (obviously within reason)
I do also provide age appropriate car seats for when we occasionally use the car (but that is mainly for the school holidays)

For really little ones I am equipped with sleeping and eating facilities which will make dropping off and picking up your child a quick and easy transition.

After School Care..

I Pick up children from both St.Johns and St.Nicolas school.

Having learnt through my eldest son and 8 years of childminding experience I am a true believer that when your child comes home to my setting from a hard day of learning and processing all they want to do is be a child.
They dont want to sit down with me and learn they want to play and socialise with there friends.
Often the children are learning through play and I will run the setting on a theme with the opportunity to learn more.

As soon as we arrive home from school the children wash their hands and sit around the table.
Snack time : All of the children are given a choice of what they would like to eat and drink.
Drinks are available and easily accessible to all children throughout the evening.

At around 5pm Parents are starting to arrive at my setting to collect their children so we have 'Tidy up time' at 5pm and as a reward for tiding up they are allowed to either watch a film, colour , play a board game or read a book for the last 30 minutes as they wait for their parents to arrive.
It is a great way to help the children understand the importance of tiding up after themselves but also an opportunity to start winding down after an exiting afternoon of playing with our friends.

I work from my home on a Monday, Tuesday, -Wednesday and Friday evening and I work from my mums home along side my her on a Thursday evening.
My mum Debbie Repton is also a registered Childminder and has been for the past 18 years.

I am a home from home setting and my relationship with both parents and children are very important to me. I offer flexible care term time only or all year round. I am also happy to do holiday care only.
