My name is Amelia Rose. I am an experienced childcare practitioner and a mum to two lovely little boys.
I live in Woodford and have lived here all my life. I know the surrounding areas very well. I have worked for families in Walthamstow and Leytonstone so know those areas well too. I have my own car and a full clean driving licence.
My Experience
My most valuable experience has definitely come from being a mum myself. (Don’t think anything could of prepared me for that!)
But I have always worked with children and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. I have worked in various childcare settings over the years. I have been a play worker, nursery nurse, childminders assistant and have been nannying since my eldest son was 8 months old. He is 8 this year. I welcomed my second son in July 2024. I would be looking for a family that would be happy for me to bring him along when he isn’t being cared for by his grandparents. This works best for a family that doesn’t want their little one/s in a larger setting but is keen for them to have a play mate. I took my eldest to work with me until he started school and it always worked very well.
I have worked with so many families, made so many friends and cared for so many lovely children. I have experience being in sole charge of up to 3 children at a time in a professional setting. I have some experience with SEN. I am first aid trained. Obviously have lots of experience with newborns, potty training etc.

Amelia was a fantastic babysitter for my two boys aged 4 and 8. She was professional and reliable, with excellent communication. She was very thoughtful - while looking after the boys she sent me a text with a picture of some Lego they were making, which reassured me that they were having lots of fun in my absence. Amelia clearly has a great affinity with children and my boys said it was the best time they had ever had with a babysitter! I would definitely recommend Amelia to others.

Amelia-Rose was reliable and very caring when she babysat my little boy. She seems naturally lovely with children and took her role responsibly. Highly recommended :)
