About Me
Hello, I’m Kelly, an Ofsted-registered childminder based in Morley. I’m married with three children of my own, and I’ve been proudly childminding since 2011. I’m Level 3 qualified and SENCO qualified, and I’m passionate about creating a warm, welcoming and nurturing home-from-home environment where every child feels safe, valued and excited to learn each day.
With a friendly, calm and caring approach, I support children to grow in confidence, independence and creativity through play-based learning, exploration and fun, hands-on experience.
My Approach
I believe children learn best when they feel happy, secure and truly listened to. My setting is designed to feel cosy, inviting and engaging, offering plenty of opportunities for:
Creative and messy play
Outdoor adventures and fresh-air learning
Sensory exploration
Early literacy, maths and communication development
Imaginative and role play
Seasonal crafts, nature-based activities and themed learning
Social skills, emotional development and independence
I follow each child’s interests, celebrate their individuality and support their next steps at a pace that suits them.

My Experience
I have been working as a childminder since 2011, supporting many wonderful families and caring for children with a wide range of needs, personalities and stages of development. Over the years, I’ve built a calm, reliable and nurturing setting that helps children feel safe, understood and confident.
Alongside my professional experience, I have also raised my own three children, which has given me valuable real-life understanding of childhood, routines, development and the importance of a loving, consistent environment.
My long-term experience, both as a parent and as a childminder, allows me to offer patient, knowledgeable and supportive care that meets each child exactly where they are.
My Qualifications
I am committed to providing high-quality, safe and nurturing childcare, and I regularly update my knowledge to ensure my setting meets the highest standards. My qualifications include:
Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Care, Learning and Development
SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) qualification
Paediatric First Aid (current and regularly renewed)
Safeguarding & Child Protection training
Food Hygiene & Food Safety certification
Prevent Duty training
Health & Safety training
Risk Assessment training
Behaviour Management & Positive Interactions training
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) training
Additional continuous professional development courses covering communication, child development, SEND support, outdoor learning, behaviour strategies and early literacy/maths.
I take pride in keeping my training up-to-date and continually developing my skills so I can offer a safe, supportive and enriching environment for every child in my care.
My Availability
I currently offer childcare Monday to Friday, between 7:30am and 5:00pm.
Availability can change throughout the year, so the best way to check current spaces is to contact me directly.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
My fees vary depending on the days and hours you require, as well as the age of your child and the type of sessions you are looking for (full days, part-time hours or funded places).

We all are very happy with Kelly and Beverly. They are very helpful and nothing is too much for them. Very flexible with hours which is a big help with small kids needs.
Our daughter went to school nursery this year but she is always happy to see Kelly for school holidays.
Soon we will welcome addition to our family and I'm sure he will follow his big sister steps into Kelly's care.
And apparently she is making the best toast with butter in a whole Morley ;-)

My daughter Alexa has been with Kelly for over a year. Kelly provides first class childcare which is far beyond our expectation.
Kelly has great communication skills, she keeps parents updated on child’s daily activists. Kelly keeps a tracker on each child’s development to make sure they hit milestones and would raise any potential concerns if spotted.
I would highly recommend Kelly if you are looking for childcare nearby 👍🏻

Kelly and Beverly are absolutely wanderful, great communication. Our sone loves to be there, sometimes even not that happy to go home😅! Provides great care, and also helps me alot to understand more about our Jasper's developing and behaviour. Now got 2 month old daughter, and already signed her in to Kelly's care from next year- and i know she will love to be there just like her brother😊

Kelly has been our childminder since my first daughter was 7 months old (she is 8 now!).
My 2.5 year old has been going to Kelly since she was 8 months old.
Both my girls love it at Kelly's as they are made to feel welcomed, cared about and valued in her setting. Both kelly and Beverley (nana as the kids affectionately call her) just have a way with the children in their care and my daughter always comes away so happy, telling me shes had a good time, which is all the reasurrance I need.
Kelly creates lovely memories with the children and christmas/mothers day etc we always get home-made gifts and cards!
Overall a brilliant setting for young children to have fun and thrive in.

We been looking ages for childminder to look after our 9 months old girl. Cause we do rotate shift in our work it was nearly impossible to find somebody who could do mid-day hours. When we found Kelly she said she would look after Rosie straight away. She was only 9 months old but she never even cry once when we took her first time as she grown up she start saying Kelly name at home. And when we was taking her she was so excited every time when Kelly or Beverly opened the door. She never wants to eat at home but always eat well while Kelly look after her. And even when I had second child and I didn’t had to send her to Kelly whenever we passed her house when we go for a walk she still was remember. And that’s way I know Rosie had amazing time I couldn’t ask for better Childmainder for our daughter. And if she wasn’t her self or didn’t want to eat I always I knew cause end of the day when we pick her up Kelly or Beverly told us. We always knew we leaving Rosie in good hands ! Thank you very much for been so good with Rosie will always recommend u to anybody if they look for trusted childminder:)

Well what can I say about kelly and Beverley these two are amazing I went to kelly after not been happy with my previous childminder and my son not really settling and took my son to kelly and soon as we went 4 a visit my son was off was in his element forgot I was even there playing with all the toys and stuff and settled really well afta that to the point he was nearly jumping outta my arms to get through the door as he loved going so much noticed such a massive change in him he was interacting with other kids playing getting on with activity’s wanting cheeky cuddles off kelly and kisses 2 with deepest regret we are moving away because I know my son is gonna miss her so much the bond they had was something else can’t thank you enough 4 everything you did to even short notice periods when I need some one to look after him went outta your way to help me 😊

I can’t recommend Kelly enough, she is absolutely fantastic with my Daughter. Whilst my son was in hospital she did so much with Niamh at a drop of a hat and can’t thank her enough. Niamh absolutely loves going and has made lots of friends there.

My 2yr old gt.grandaughter, Jenna, has been with Kelly since January 2018, and absolutely loves going there, when I pull up outside Jenna starts clapping her hands and cheering, this from a little girl (an only child from only child parents) she was so clingy, wouldn't go to anyone, not very good speechwise, what a transformation in such a short time in her behaviour :) everything has improved, she even puts her toys away! This is down to the magic of Kelly, cannot recommend this girl highly enough.

Kelly is a brilliant Childminder - my daughter Amelia has been with her since she was a baby and is now due to go to school - needless to say its one of the saddest times for me so am hoping to keep her with Kelly in the holidays - The enviroment is home from home both Kelly and her assistant are number 1 - Amelia has come on leaps and bounds with Kelly and is a very loving caring little girl this I contribute to her child care. If you want a loving caring very reliable and honest childminder then I would recommend you contact her. I cant sing her praises to highly and feel honoured she has been such a big part in my little girls life

Since Amelia has been coming to Kelly she has come on leaps and bounds. It is a lovely atmosphere and Amelia is well loved - infact she cant get out of the car quick enough. Kelly is a brilliant child minder and loves all the children. And it shows its a welcoming home and all the children are very happy. Amelia's care is first rate, and Kelly's assistant is totally brilliant. I can honestly say I would definitely recommend Kelly, I always go to work knowing my little girl is loved and well cared for. She simply is a fantastic childminder.
