About Me
Hi, I'm Alex, a registered midwife and specialist community public health nurse. I was previously a level 6 nursery nurse and have an BA (Hons) degree in early years and childhood studies. I am available for evening and weekend babysitting, maternity nursing and mothers help roles.
I am a friendly and outgoing person, I would consider myself flexible and easy to work with. I most enjoy building up trusting, strong and long lasting relationships with children and their families.
I have worked with children and families in different capacities for 13 years now. I started off as a private nursery nurse, a role I loved for 6 years while completing my first degree in early years. From there I moved into community nursery nursing within the NHS. Since then I have enjoyed a fulfilling career in Midwifery and Health Visiting.
I have a full UK Driving license along with my own car.
I am fully DBS checked and have my Paediatric First Aid Certificate along with NHS Basic Life Support training which is updated annually.

Alex is just great! It was super easy to get on with her and she obviously has a huge experience. I’m happy how she spent a day with my 10 week old and then provided a report. I felt that Alex is so in tune with me and my baby, definitely will consider her again when we need a babysitter

Alex is absolutely fabulous as a babysitter. She’s really normal, professional, has proof of all documentation and our children instantly bonded with her, which is unheard of for our lockdown baby. We feel completely relaxed when our boys are in her care. I highly recommend her services.

Alex has babysat for us for around 3 years now and she always makes it so easy, we are so lucky to have found her. We have never had any problems and the kids love her. She has dealt with everything from difficult periods of separation anxiety to recognising cows milk protein allergy in our 5 week old, we probably wouldn’t have realised without her pointing it out. Would recommend Alex to any parent looking for childcare!
