We are delighted to have met Alex through childcare.co.uk, this is the first time we have found a babysitter through this website.

Alex came across friendly and professional when I spoke with her over the phone to set up the first babysitting session with our 3 year old boy. I explained that our son is quite shy with new people and that we do not have many sitters, but we are looking for someone that can help with putting him to bed for occasional evenings out and overnight stays. Alex was very reassuring on the phone and it was clear that she has lots of experience dealing young children, including those who are more sensitive.

Alex arrived on time and took an interest in our son straight away, which meant that he warmed to her very quickly. Alex put him to bed and kept in touch to let me know that there had been no problems, which I found very reassuring. Our son talked all about her the next day and the fun they had playing before bedtime. It's great to know that they have hit it off already.

We have booked Alex for another babysitting session next month, which our son is looking forward to already!
