About Me
My name is Alison, I have been a Registered childminder for over 14 years. I live with my husband and our two children. We live within walking distance of Wythenshawe Hospital in the Baguley/Newall Green area. I offer a flexible service with a wide range of resources catering for all ages and stages of children's development. I have a secure rear garden, offering a good range of outdoor equipment allowing the children to explore the world outside.
My Experience
I have been a registered childminder for over 14 years now.
I am happy to discuss tax free childcare and funded hours for eligible 9 months though to 4 year olds.
My Qualifications
I have achieved my Level 2 Qualification in BTEC Children's Care, Learning and Development and my Level 3 Qualification in CACHE - Certificate in Childminding Practice and gained my Foundation Degree in Early Years through the Open University. I continue to undertake training courses in order to gain more knowledge in childcare aspects and provide the best possible care for the children in my setting. I hold my Certificate of Paediatric First Aid. I have completed BSL Level 2. Trained in WellComm assessment where I can identify any language difficulties and support language development.
My Availability
Vacancies part-time & full time available from July 2024.
I am available from 7.45am until 5.45-6 pm Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays. My hours are flexible for parents who need cover out of these hours. I offer term time only care if required (I do not charge any retaining fees over school holidays) flexible day rates on full and part-time places and before and after school. I accept Childcare Vouchers and Care to Learn payments.

I believe Alison is one of the blessings my baby and our family had amidst of all the chaos in 2020.I am so glad that I found her. She is very lovely and affectionate to kids. As I am a full time registered nurse, my child care needs are not fixed always but it is a relief that she is flexible.It is very relaxing to know that your child is in safe hands when you are at work.
