About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I provide a homely, educational and fun environment and enjoy helping children to play, learn and develop in their self esteem and confidence. I work with an experienced assistant so each child can get the individual attention they need. We regularly visit parks, go on nature walks, socialize at toddler groups and childminder drop ins, have creative play, sand and water play sessions, days out to farms, museums and national trust sites. I am a member of the childminding network which means i am quality assured and assessed regularly. I am also accredited so can access the funding for 2 and 3 year olds.
My Experience
I have been a childminder for eleven years and worked in a nursery for two years. I also have children of my own. Previously i worked as a registered nurse.
My Qualifications
I have completed the childminding course and numerous training courses e.g. behaviour management, creative play, special needs, dental health, food safety, EYFS and so on. I have also completed NVQ level 3 in childrens care learning and development.

I currently have a full or part time vacancy and am open from the 1st of June 2020

I have known Marie for over 7 years since my eldest son went to her for daycare as a baby. She now looks after his younger brother. Marie and her lovely assistants provide a wonderful happy and loving environment and I always feel total confidence that they are safe and well looked after. Both boys love going there and enjoy all the different activities particularly playing outdoors and arts and crafts. They are always excited to tell me what they have been up to and show me what they have been making! Marie is 100% reliable and has never let us down, and is an absolute star.

My eldest child was with Marie for 3 years and sometimes still goes in the school holidays. She loves Marie and the other girls and often talks about things she did with Marie which she remembers fondly. Given how much my eldest loved going to Marie’s I had no doubts about sending my son who still goes there now and loves it too. He often wakes up, grabs his bag and waits at the front door saying he wants to go to Marie’s. Marie and the girls genuinely love all the children they look after, keep them stimulated through lots of play, structured activities and lots of outdoor play. I cannot recommend Marie enough.

Marie has been looking after our baby for just over a month and she’s been amazing! Our little girl has settled in much faster than I’d have anticipated and is clearly already mad about Marie, reaching out her arms to meet her at morning drop off. They get up to lots of varied activities, spend lots of time outdoors and Marie keeps us updated during the day on how our baby is doing via a helpful childcare app. Marie is very caring, intuitive and clearly very experienced.

Marie has looked after our 3-year-old daughter since she was 9-months old, and she has been an amazing childminder. From the start our child settled in seamlessly, without a single issue. Marie has provided a warm, caring, happy and stimulating environment in which our daughter has thrived. She has a very special relationship with the children she cares for, which can be seen in the way they respond to her and she to them. Marie provides a wide variety of activities for the children, including indoor/outdoor play, reading, drawing, messy play, play groups, library visits, trips to local parks, farm visits, other days out and much much more. There's never a dull day at Marie's! Marie allows us to go to work without worrying about our child, knowingly that all her needs are being met.
Therefore we (including our daughter) wholeheartedly recommend Marie as an excellent childminder and can honestly say - Marie is every parent's dream!
